still no tactical camera fix? are you f* kidding me, developing engine for two years and unable to add single checkbox\option to disable automatic camera movement?
Not a major issue, relax brah.

It wouldn't be an issue if champions were harder to come by. And/or if leveling them outside of monster hunting was easier. Removing the xp split is not the solution, it'll totally ruin the challenge of the game (which is hitting the sweet spot as of .85). Your champions will get too powerful and you'll steamroll the AI and the fun is gone. Once my sovereign went from collecting endless badass perks that made him invincible (FE) to carefully choosing each trait
What if Life Magic had a spell that gave all allied units the "Enmity" trait for one battle? A way for life magic to get offensive against its opposite - death magic, represented by the fallen. Not opposed to life magic having a damage undead spell, but life magic by nature is about support and buffing, not direct damage.

Could there be a civics tech, like "military subsidy kickbacks" that encourages the merchants to sell items to hero for cheap, in exchange for political favor? Funct
Life magic got some love! Heal spells heal more, regeneration is now easily worth its mana cost. That's awesome, thank you - dedicated healers sound like a strong strategy now. Nerfing healing items makes a lot of sense with this.
Yes, it's great. Thanks devs.
They did for me. Can you reproduce this? Post your save file?
I love this as an option, but the AI sovs should get some kind of buff - I can see them accidentally sending their sovs into a bad situation. The Ai may not be ready for this win condition, it is used to its sovs being invincible. On Expert and higher, the AI could just hide their sov away in the toughest fortress with a full army - that'd prevent killing them too easily. On lower difficulties, though, if it turtles its sov it won't expand quickly enough, and could pain
I'd like to add, that the whole air magic tree is a bit of useless.
I always thought it was the best. Air1 has the propaganda spell - great for funding armies early game. Also haste, haste on archers is a battle winner. air2 has tutelege, helps level up champs air3 has two direct damage spells. air4 has cloud walk, very useful to respond to invasions or monsters e
I disagree with most points. Scaling magic damage: Are we playing the same game? Magic has too much scaling already! Many spells are way too powerful late game (flame dart, horrific wail with savant, any spell that scales with level). Perhaps you really want more set-level damage spells early on (lightning bolt was mentioned). Something mages can cast to do moderate damage at the beginning. Basing damage on shards adds a strategic element, instead of giving

No, appeared like that on the last levelup only. Whole game before that last levelup, the life tree had been normal.
So Altar came to me (Dagorath in this game) and offered some gildar to pay me tribute. I took it. But then 6 turns later, I get a notification that the treaty has expired (same turn his disposition increased from neutral to warm). https://www.dropbox.com/s/mtfq9nr1ifgnujz/Tribute%20error%201.jpg Doesn't make sense, but according to the foreign relations screen, it's still in effect. </

When I loaded up my custom units in .85, the strength trait still loaded (I used it often!). Pretty sure it gave +2 attack to the units that had it. I do not see the new soldier's gear ever showing up in store, or the new starting cloaks.
I have played as a custom quendar faction, did not see this. Could be magnar-specific?
I like the Ongr random event, keeps you on your toes. When he spawns next to your capital, though... https://www.dropbox.com/s/xmqfqdinbv9514r/Unfair_random_event.jpg Very unfair for early in the game. I think this is still before turn 50. My armies MIGHT be able to take him, but my sov is across the map with his main army. If Ongr attacks on his first move, my capital is toast.&nbs

Just declined a quest with a champion army, then tried to attack a darkling stack with my sov's army. https://www.dropbox.com/s/xnlw4cr5tjdahz8/debug.err https://www.dropbox.com/s/1qfmmel1hza92pc/LegendaryHeroes0_85-2013-04-29T19-29-16_859.zip
I am no expert either, but just because it was easy in Civ2 doesn't mean it's easy to make happen here - especially now that so much code is written, changing one cog here can potentially cause cascading unintended errors elsewhere. My real reason against it is, I think it's more a gameplay negative than positive. Despite the joy of total control in games, hard choices between two negatives is (almost) always more interesting that just getting one positive.

Ongr used to be listed as twisted (ha, rhyme).
Has anyone used the collar to take control of a dark wizard? Having the despair spell whenever you want it is basically a "win" button.
