I think I have a solution to a perceived problem with the AI. But first, thanks to Brad and Derek and the team that made this game. I love it, and have put in 150+ hours since launch. If this game never gets another update, I will still love it. But I had some brief ideas on how the AI could be a little more fun to play, if you'll hear them. I can't raze a city until I've held it for 5 turns (as of v1.12), but the AI has taken my cities in the past and insta-razed them (v1). While not a big deal, has this been fixed? Is it intentional?

If you have access to Iron, focus on the Warfare tree and pump out troops with high damage weaponry (swords or spears). Produce Cavalry with the charge trait so that you can usually get the first hit (A level 3 fortress with strike garrison can give them the impulsive trait, Impulsive+Charge means you'll always hit first). Towns are the #1 priority for building (gildar income), but I find having 1-2 fortress can make your military better by being the place where your units are trained while the other towns provide the money/research. This work best when: 1. Your fortress has very high production. 2. The fortress has 2-3 essence. This is for enchanted hammers, and Heart of Fire. Heart of Fire adds 1 fire attack per essence.
