I really like all the above. I'm more interested in the world (terrain, wildlands, monsters, lairs) then the factions.
I'd like to see more terrain too. Do you have requests I should add to my own?
This qoute warmes my hearth. I know that Brad is not the designer of the game, but seeing the big chief wanting it too, makes the odds of getting it more likely. ^^

When will the internal workshop be released? Is it even planned for Beta? Are you guys holding back because you want us to be more focused on the core game? I'm really wanting to use the stamp-editor to make some new wildlands, the map editor would be nice too. :)

They could even make a new animation, although that would take some time for them. The major question is: will this add something to the game. Throwing axes would also be a great addition to the game. The current throwing knifes don't do enough damage to them. Maybe Derek could try this out in his build by making changes to

This suggestion is mainly for Umber in mind, but can be used for other factions. I'm suggesting a trait that gives factions acces to javelins. Javilins have been used in warfare by quite a lot of forces, the Romans for example. The way I see it would be this: Javelins are ranged weapons like the throwing knives, buth with a range of 3 or 4. The upside for this weapon is that units can carry ranged weapons into battle and use these when there out of range for a melee attack, giving extra o

I'm wondering if the two lost factions will be comming back. I'm really missing Yoren and Athos in the game. :P
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmiY5n8gY5A&feature=related 1:26
Besides the cut of those two factions Umber and Capitar are also cut. I read a lot of the "official" feedback, but I'm not quite sure if they'll be coming back. Derek said that the two

The motto of the game is: Go big, or go home. That said, they removed navies because it was badly done. During development they removed a lot of other mechanics that were not implemented right, like the dynastie system. Because there are no navies to work with the maps need to be generated so that every thing can be reached by land. Navies may be comming back in te future as an expansion or as an feature patch, but don't expect that for another year. The current goal of the game is making
I use stamps extensively in the rivermod part of Stormworld. I built those just by editing existing stamps, and even that was extremely slow. There was a screenshot posted by Frogboy a few months ago that had some kind of "stamp generator" in the workshop. I would recommend you wait for the workshop.
Okey, thanks. I will do that. ^^

I'm wondering if there is an easy way to make stamps or that I need to wait till the workshop is released. I would like to make some smaller "wildlands" lands that can be conquered in around turn 20-40. Just some places to spice up the land. I've looked in the elemental.def and found that the game is using stamps for these. I've looked into some

Thanks for the information LizMarr! I didn't know about the fact that bee allergy only kick in after the second sting. I'm interrested in the process of food making, from start till end. I just want enough honey to make some mead and have enough to go around the year. So africanized bees are not really worth the extra trouble for me. So I think I would go for the Italian bees. Maybe if I make self made pizza or pasta for them, they will become even more docile. ;)

The monolith really increases the speed of play in the early game, combined with the über shadow warg and you got yourself an easy start. Monolith is a real game changer. You don't need to make pioneers anymore, which take much of your precious construction time in the beginning. Now that the sovereign doesn't give research it's very funny to look at the research screen before you're founding your city. It takes something like -23102 turns to research something. ;

Does beekeeping cost a lot of time? I'm interested in keeping bees myself when I'm graduated. Another question, how close can one get before the bees start to become protective of there hive and go stinging you?

Personaly I think that the current magic system is on par with that of AoW, the only thing that I'm missing is the overland spells. AoW had more overland spells. Besides the overland spells, FE has got almost as many spells as AoW. I'm kind of liking the city spells we got in FE it adds some dept. Me really like Meditation and "the tech spell" combo, +2 tech and +10% research for -10% construction and 5 mana to cast! What I really liked in AoW:2 where the "domain" spells like Damnatio
Wargs give a higher initiate boost (I buy for my warriors), whilst horses give a weight carrying bonus instead (I give to my weakling casters who complain their bags are too heavy).
I know this, but making them two different technologies makes the techtree larger then it has to be. You already get a trade-off with the weight versus initiative. I think the different mounts are great, except I would like them to use the same techn

O yeah, I forgot to say that the wandering monsters in E:WoM also attacked your cities. Because of this soldiers where needed in your kingom/empire or you would lose a settlement. (Monsters razed settlements to the ground.) These monsters also banded together to form armies of there own. It was rare to see an army of nine bandits with bears and stuff.
But sometimes you get stuck, maybe that is just the randomness of the game. Get a bad map and you can only explore so far before the monsters are unbeatable, then you have to hit enter 300 times before you can venture out again. - Early game needs more work, I think a few more simple/easy quests that are still "fun" (not just killing rats) and more low level monsters to grind on. That way you are always doing something till you've leveled up to where yo
Well you will still lose the resource production for a couple of turns if you are not carefull, but not the territory, and since you are given a +25% bonus to damage (some damage anyways) and defense on your own territory, and you do not have to build another pioneer to rebuild the outpost all the time due to raids, the benefit is there. It is not just "strictly better" lategame, but it doesn't cost upkeep and expands your
