HotS: Is attempting a radically different approach. "Casualising" the game (in my opinion) does little to nothing to actually distinguish your game from competitors. However, that plus marketing your game to the userbase of ones that don't typically play MOBAs (Diablo, WoW, Hearthstone players) might give you a solid chance.
HotS is the only MOBA that I play, because it's more casual. I don't care to memor

I'd love to read a post-mortem from the devs eventually.
Both 9mil and 30mil sound like rather small figures compared to the cost of replacing it on 100 000 workstations. I'm sure they'll replace it when the cost of doing so is lower than maintaining it?
Picked up a bunch of stuff but refunded everything except Offworld Trading Company. Refunded: Savage Lands, 3dMark, Satellite Reign, Convoy, Witcher 3, War for the Overworld etc etc.

Congrats!
They introduced the objective captures to reduce the mop-up phase. And they added the new shrines that gave your faction new race-wide advantages which I think was cool (I think they activated when you blessed, was a while since I played). I also liked the god/disciple team-ups you could make to create team warfare. Other than that I don't remember much being different. Actually now that I think about it I think they added so you can set a territory to buy units every turn now. An
Yes, I get the same thing sometimes. Like half the time it will take 20 s to load a page. And right now it was just 1-2 sec for this page.

There are so many cool-looking games showcased that I can't understand how you're not excited.
It was good. Pet play, buildable stuff, pipboy minigames, customizable weapons etc all on top the standard formula. Looked like a top-of-the-line AAA game. Also an ios game called fallout shelter available now. Android coming later.
I've not heard about Bard's Tale before. Can someone please talk a bit about how it compares to games like Baldur's Gate, Diablo 2, Elder scrolls etc?
Same, used to get EA+founder, now I get only founder and see only founder DLC in steam.

If I understood it right, the sorcerer king is trying to draw all magic into himself/herself to become immortal / godlike. This will kill everything else in the world. If I played as a good character against the sorcerer king, how would that fit?
Since when were strategic plans not adaptive in their nature? Ex http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OODA_loop . Can't imagine anyone designing a strategic planning process that doesn't involve a feedback element or review phase. The only do-or-die long-term strategy I can think of is that seen in religious extremists who commit to a singular vision and die trying to get there. Of course if you're just altering your strateg
Personally I think Path of Exile isn't quite as good as Dialbo 3, however, they are quite similar in the initial 10-15 hours of gameplay. What does PoE's endgame look like nowadays? I haven't played for a long time. In Dialbo 3, you do timed rifts that increase in difficulty until you are defeated, and higher difficulty equals more/better drops.
I think Dialbo 3: RoS is your best choice. It has expanded in content and complexity immensely since the luke-warm release of Dialbo 3. It is probably the best Dialbo right now. And the expansion to Dialbo 3, RoS, is a must have. Blizzard frequently runs sales of Dialbo 3 + RoS bundled, usually at 40 dollars.
How is score calculated?
Just some food for thought here. IGN is obviously in a partnership with the dev to post exclusives. They had the same deal going with Evolve, and we saw content droplets every week or so for half a year before release. (edit: IGN posted some 80 "articles" about evolve in total, and ultimately reviewed it as a 9/10 game which was the highest score given by anyone .) This is a kind of intentional swarming
This is the sort of thing that I don't care about being in a ToC. When they start doing it, I'll react. Until then it's not important to me.
Fuck the devs (no offense Stardock =)) I just got a free demo of every title in their catalogue.
http://store.steampowered.com/steam_refunds/ Looks like the competition from Origin has paid off (for consumers). Origin has already offered refunds for EA products for a while. Their policy .
