There's a lot that can be gained from social media - it makes it a lot easier for me to stay in touch with old friends. You just have to be careful what you put in there in terms of information and time. It is very much the realm of internet trolls and profiteering companies.

I mean, those of us who bought it back in the day still have it for download, last I checked. I remember reinstalling it back in 2015 to check on some mod stuff for FE, started it up for fun and E:WoM sure was garbage all the way through. But FE:LH was a good game bordering on great, and I think early E:WoM buyers got it for free along with FE. So I think I came out of all that pretty damn well, I just had to wait a couple more years.
The part where they morse code to find out Will is still in there felt totally repetitive of season 1 with the alphabet on the wall. You can call it a callback, I call it unoriginal. Eleven and a dude with a shotgun takes out the big bad in five minutes. Kind of ruined the ending. Also big scary CGI tentacle thing reaching out through the portal didn't look great, especially when we got fairly decent CGI monsters throughout the season (for a tv show). I didn't like that the st
Michael: "Before I was a mutineer I was a first officer in Starfleet. I'll never bear that rank or any other again. But it is who I am, and who I will always be. It is by the principles of the United Federation of Planets that I live. And by them I will most certainly die." Lorca: "Universal law is for lackeys. Context is for kings." Why did Michael join the crew after such disregard to her ideals? It is obvious that Lorca has his reasons - as he himself ex
I feel like the editing of the trailer is giving us hints that seem obviously misleading, such as Kylo holding out his hand towards Rey but it's probably two completely different scenes. More likely we're seeing parts of Rey's visit to the dark side, like Luke had to do with Yoda's training. Anyway, as is tradition nowadays, the first trailer is usually the only one to watch if you don't want spoilers. Expect the 2nd and 3rd trailer to lay out all major plot points.
Hmm... was this fixed? https://forums.elementalgame.com/484184/ https://forums.elementalgame.com/forum/1050 Nope.
It doesn't stand out to me as either well done or poorly executed. And I think I'm going to have problems with Blackbolt going around not using his powers for the rest of the series.
and the special effects above movie?
Above Star Trek movie effects [e digicons][/e]
No way they can keep the level of CGI up that we saw in episode 1 and 2, this was above star trek movie quality. I'm concerned that Star Trek was never meant to be a war series. In fact I seem to recall the original visionary saying as much. As for the Klingon, they are so re-made that they may as well be a completely different species. It was a shame that they decided to
kill off two of the most interesting characters in the show
. The vulcan-in-a-box is also
Third episode felt like a good star trek episode with actual social relevance. And just as I hoped, they dialed back the snarkiness and edged up on the serious tones. Let's hope that's the new standard for the series.
Nah, it's the engineer section that they'll be phasing in across the season.
I don't like the formula (sci fi + snarky humor), and I hope they explore darker or more serious themes. Those things take long to develop, and I know I can't expect them to jump right into it but I hope they develop over time. I.e setting up the Krill as the bad guys, ensuing conflict, interplay, diplomacy etc that made Star Trek TNG so interesting. It may be poor but still be the best sci fi show running. An addict will take what he can get.
There's been chatter for years about how they're doing the opposite as well, hiding things which are contrary to them. Of course it's been reinforced into a pseudo-myth with the various right-wing outlets popping up around Trump's claim that media is unfair. And then Google went and said "yeah, we do that" with Perspective : https://i.redd.it/vssva5dl3wez.png . <a hre
It'll be surge pricing when prices go up, and "sales" prices when they almost return to normal. So they get you coming and going. Look, it's 40% less than the surge prices! Yes, but it's still 20% more than what it used to be...
This is interesting, the link is relative to my current url? If I visit https://forums.elementalgame.com/484184/page/1/#3684653 the links get wonkied up like posted above. And if I visit https://forums.elementalgame.com/484184/ I just get redirected to the above url when I'm logged in. If I ain't logged in then I don't get redirected. So there's a redirect to the last page if I'm logged in, and that redirect script changes the url, and that me
I see my links in this thread, which were actually fine with the right hyperlink on posting (no automatic change), have now turned into dead-enders too.
When I post a link say https://forums.elementalgame.com/forum/1050 the forum (sometimes) edits the actual hyperlink to be something completely different like https://forums.elementalgame.com/484175/page/forum/1050 if I post it in that topic ( https://forums.elementalgame.com/484175/ ) which makes the link not work. Basically I can't link from one part
Still there for me https://forums.elementalgame.com/forum/1050
In your modded file, remove the spellresourcecost that makes it cost mana. When you overwrite certain (but not all) types in a modded file they retain certain elements from the core files. More information can be found here: edit, I can't link to it for some reason. Google [eINFO] Getting FE ready for our mods - object sanity please (modding from the /mods/ folder) (update 30/10)
They'll be providing free game / DLCs for people who got burned by the price hike: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads/pricing-change-rollback-information-thread-latest-news-here.1031635/#post-23049884
No, not consistently. To determine abilities (that is, "traits") that increase in strength with levels look for the 1 tag in gamemodifiers. I think some spells can increase in strength with caster level also, check out CoreSpells for those.
Those are just named references to the ability to set them apart as two different abilities. Having a _level in the name doesn't on its own change the function. Rather, there will be an extra tag in the gamemodifier which is something like 1 .
Witcher 3 with both expansions for 25€. Also may pick up Conquest of Elysium 4 and Renowned Explorers + DLC if the itch grows too strong before the end.
What I still struggle to understand though is how come games like the original MOO, Alpha Centauri and Elite Frontiers were made by just a couple of guys for peanuts and are in many ways deeper and richer than the modern remakes that cost a fortune.
For me at least it's about 90% rose-tinted nostalgia glasses. When I go back to those games they aren't anything special, they certainly wouldn't be well received by t
Yeah, polish (as long as it is not confused with bug-fixing) is a luxury with low returns on overall gameplay feeling for me. Not every item has to be balanced or interesting. Not every mechanic has to be perfectly integrated with the others. I'm ok with making an extra click on a poorly designed UI. I want to spit in the face of the Dragon King before I cut his head off. I want to build dyson spheres around the few stars I didn't blow up after crusading across the galaxy.
