I upgraded and I'm with Jafo, there's no good reason to upgrade at this point. And I know everyone's hating on win10 for all kinds of legit reasons, but I don't think this thread has one of them. The environments look dull and washed out. Compare it to heroes of might and magic 7 for example.

Looks like they toned down the fantastical environments a lot. They look bad. I guess it's too late to hope that they're all placeholders?

Have they talked about modding on dev streams at all? I'm also cautious to "commit" to anything because SD's plans for it aren't known.

Tried to port Rivermod over but they've done something stupid with transparency in tiles so I gave up after a couple of hours.

It is also possible that the hero cannot equip any weapons. Although I'm with you that clarifications are in order.

If you go to a hero's unit details screen and look at abilities, one of those should tell you what items that particular hero can equip.

Imho the "problem" is the game launched with a certain F2P scheme, and as more collectibles have been added the scheme has changed over time to become more expensive. In a normal tabletop card game, this is to be expected - new editions etc. However, in a computer game, this is not a normal pay scheme. Hearthstone is in the grey area between those - obviously a computer game, but at the same time a card game that needs to output new collectibles to stay relevant. That said... it's

Make sure you have unique internalnames for the skin and eye texture definitions, I think that causes this.

RPS usually pretty hardcore about pointing out flaws, glad they liked it. High praise for the crafting system as well, which I think is warranted.

On Win8.1 on my surface 2, I noticed that the restarts after downloading updates are now being forced. After 2-3 days or so of not restarting, the OS goes into retard mode and displays a prompt saying "your system will now restart" or some such. And then it restarts, and there's nothing you can do about it. Hoping Win10 isn't as dumb as that.

I really like Sorcerer King. I would agree that it feels like the best game you've made since Galciv 2 (I'm still waiting on Galciv 3 to ripen a bit). Any plans on adding steam workshop?
