There's a fair assumption floating around the tubes that Rey is indeed Luke's daughter, or at the very least already a fully trained Jedi. When Rey finds Luke's lightsaber, she experiences a vision of Kylo Ren's betrayal. The theory goes that this is actually a flashback - Rey was there and experienced it first hand. However, when Luke decided to close down the temple he wiped the minds of all remaining trainees and dumped them across the galaxy. Guess who has a mysterious pas

I'm curios about Galactic and Nitrous. Kumquat, for example, was built on the Havok "engine". Is Galactic also havok? But Nitrous is from the ground up?
Ridiculous... dunno why people can't realize how little they matter to developers? If you sell 2 million copies you're not going to twist and turn at the voice of one or ten.
"Congratulations"!
Civ V and the sci fi one (can't even remember its name, how forgetful it was) both proved that Civ 6 will definitely NOT be memorable at launch. It may be good or even great after expansions though.
A small technicality, they're calling Stellaris a Grand Strategy game rather than a 4X game.
That was bloody idiotic. How many people were getting used to havok thanks to skyrim modding? Also, I didn't have it installed so I can't edit 3d models for FE any longer. Although I wasn't exactly spitting out mods anymore it still annoys me that what used to be possible is now just a memory.
I haven't seen them for a couple of months. I figured they removed them.
There's not really any big deal surrounding hardware or software issues with win10. The issues that have been focused on so far is privacy - you literally cannot turn off sending data to MS. And to a lesser degree the unclear revenue stream for MS because they gave it away for free to most people. (Those issues are probably connected, obviously). There's a vocal group on these forums that take these issues seriously. But if your question is just "does it work?" then the answer is pret
A lot of what made it anno has been removed. I strongly encourage you to watch some Lets Play video before buying this. The differences should be fairly obvious to a veteran.
Judges are in! It's glitchy and shitty on consoles. And if you're playing on 100+ fps your game will move ~30% faster than those on 60 fps! Also the usual nvidia gameworks shenanigans have put their stamps on things like godrays etc. All par for the course nowadays. reddit's review thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/Games/comments/3s4k5n/fallout_4_review_thread/
I actually had a look at the mod the other day, but it was a bit too needlessly complex for my taste.
Oh man, a Vampire game in Vermintide's medieval cities. A man can dream`?
I've looked everywhere but I can't find any way to scale the UI. I have a 4k monitor, and the text is almost unreadable in the 1.x versions of the game. I see the feature list for 2.0 mentions UI scaling, so help / advice on how to take advantage of that would be appreciated.
Second this request.
Well, it's been spoken of before so technically not out of nowhere =). Anyone else getting some supcom1 vibes?

Looks like the beta is open and free, as well.
I think if you strip away the sub-par graphics, the uncoordinated UI, the somewhat empty maps... if I look just at the gameplay mechanics, think of it like a boardgame, then it's not too shabby. I think TotalBiscuit called it uninspired, and I agree with that. In the end it feels more like a bad remake instead of a sequel. Didn't we do this "resource type spam" already? And how boring is it to fight 3 stacks of identical mobs? This game was a waste of my time with Aow3 to play.</
My opinion is that the use of triggerdata in Sorcerer King implies hardcoded values (sometimes). This is something Stardock would have to fill in on, which numbers correspond with what triggers.
The golden rule for playing with XML in stardock games is to repeat what they do. Actually making new use of things requires significantly more trial and error and is only possible once you've understood the initial system completely. In other words, if there isn't already a trigger used for when outposts are created, you have to start thinking about ways of going around that. For example, maybe the outpost creates a resource and there is a trigger for when you first get a res
Children of Storm will of course update for 2.0 after it is officially released (no update for beta, sorry!).
Interesting feature for a post-release patch!
Also if you disable your camera in the hardware, NSACIAFBI can't use it to spy on your every move, you fucking terrorist.
