I can't believe EA are actually defending this. Oh well, the company is pretty much too big to fail at this point (hell, I bought three titles from them this month). Again, it only reinforces my opinion that reviews of ANY kind can't be trusted, and the only way to actually find out if a game is worthy is to play it myself, or watch a lot of gameplay videos on youtube.
Heavenfall
Nope, nothing has been said about that for a while.
I have a fool-proof system that I will sell to you for ONLY 999.99$! Also, completely unrelated, I'm currently selling a various assortment of tools, chocolate and digital cameras.
I seem to recall that odd results started happening above 1000.
Yeah... it seems a very strange change on its own. What's being done to prevent 4man units getting oneshot by everything? It really feels like one step forward with 4man units, and one step backwards with changed base health.
Death of a sovereign will cause the rest of the faction to go over to the faction with the best dynasty connections
Something you could do is split the remaining towns instead of give them all to a single faction. That way, you could also give a few to the faction that executed the "kill". It would create a very messy situation, which I think would be cool.
Ah... I assumed you were already using that, since it is used for dual weapons in the artifact mod inside adventure content pack.
You'll have to manually rotate the model in your 3d software until it reaches a satisfactory point. How it is rotated in your 3d program determines how it is rotated in-game. Edit: The same goes for distances. If your dagger is a straight piece, at least one part of it should touch the very center of your scene.
I'm stressed out, man! Only two more weeks to buy a boat. I'm not on a boat.
priority values tend to work by taking a random number between 0 and the value, for all choices, and doing the research with the highest number.
Here's a brief list: A lot of new goodie huts Random events Essence returned as a limiting factor on how many heroes you can imbue (where essence remains something good for you) More variance in monsters in the world More interesting world generation at start More (a lot more) emphasis on missile weapons (i.e. lots more bandits with bows and such) Minimum trained unit will be 4 (not 1)<br /
Cosmology? That's your answer right there.
I'm not saying you should always pay for the latest technological advances, you'll have to weigh the pros and cons on your own. But if you by default lament new technology, that is a poor attitude to have since we owe so much to it. If someone sighs at technological advancements being unending, I would say we should be so fortunate that it never ends.
And that's something to sigh about? Advancement in technology is one of humanity's great hopes.
Heh... it only recognized a single driver that needed updating, for a software piece. And the link it provided (to intel) was a dead end telling me the file was removed.
I think a part of that is because if you buy this, you'll get a discount on the Fallen Enchantress, a follow-up/sequel to this. So let's say that you save $15 bucks on the sequel, and they lower this game by $15, that's $30 in total. (these are imagined numbers) I think another part of this is that the game still isn't something that they're completely satisfied with as a product. I would personally be very surprised if there wasn't at least a small sale after patch 1.3 (months away).
I actually appreciate the new style, it's necessary to make the game feel fresh I think. The departure helps, but the game is still a disappointment. Edit: I downloaded the high-resolution texture package and I dare say it's a must have. No more shitty graphics, makes the numerous cutscenes (75% of the game) a lot more enjoyable.
I'd give it a solid 6, the repeating maps are a joke and I'm actually not even enjoying playing this game (I loved DA). I'd give it even lower if nightmare wasn't available, combat just feels like a total grind with no danger on lower difficulties. I'm also having a hard time with the story, although I can't really talk about it without spoiling it for others. Companions are just getting thrown at me with very little backstory. edit: I'm going to download the high-res texture pack now
Yeah, I can't believe this game is raking in such good reviews. Yes, it is more or less bugfree but there are so many shortcomings.
Essence is still hooked up in the engine, so mods can use it (expandedfactions does) but it has no visual bar any more (like a health bar)
I hope this is the kind of information we can find in-game in FE when we are playing. Maybe not the stuff about "bring your strongest champions" and so on, but the other things.
Just keep it running, when you change core xml files they need to re-do the xml blob and that takes up to minutes (on the pre-menu loading screen). Otherwise, open impulse and shift+rightclick elemental and select verify installation.
... but misinterpretation is fun ;(
Don't blame release dates on the drm, blame it on the publisher.
Same thing, sticking to core rules.
