This is more or less just how I feel about the internet in the US. Absolutely one of the reasons I won't ever visit. In before US citizens flip-flop around the issue, claiming one government recording all I do is good and another doing it is bad. Oh yes, have to remember to stay away from those nasty US chinese sites.
Just had a moment of total awesome. Had 4 (1 bow, 3 katana) units defending a castle come under siege. The enemy had like 24 units or something (alliance attack! how cool is that). So I know I'm going to lose, and I almost hit the auto-resolve button. I mean, the castle doesn't even have any towers. But I decide to make them bleed for every inch in the motherland. So first the enemy sends in the spearunits and I mean they just charge right up the walls, don't even wait for
Well, since neither of us can back up our statements, let's just hope we won't find out who is right.
I've never tried it. You could disable the old one.
I think we are slowly reaching a consensus that if Benjamin Franklin would be alive today, he would think most of us are idiots. And he'd use firefox.
Oops... it's using a texture you only get from expandedfactions. I'll put it in the next release. Until then, you can get that texture here: http://www.mediafire.com/imageview.php?quickkey=4dy1e4zd8mf0qo3&thumb=4 (put it in mods/gfx/expandedmounts/
I didn't get a mail, couldn't find anything in the spam filter either. Could you send them again?
Nothing is confirmed beyond Fallen Enchantress. Frogboy has said that if FE isn't received well by the fans, the Elemental world is over. As much as they love doing computer games, it would be foolish to think they would continue to do so at a loss while being shat upon by their players. Edit: The roadmap isn't a "we are going to do this", it's a "we'd like to do this barring unforeseen circumstances".
I think there's still room for middle market games, but asking the same price as for a "AAA" game is unreasonable. Many middle market games are nowhere near as impressive graphically speaking as AAA games. Of course for some that doesn't matter, but it does for me. As Lord Xia said, I also spend much more money on middle market than AAA games.
It's not "only" going to work on nvidia cards, they just paid to optimize it better for the newest nvidia cards (trying to keep ahead in benchmarks likely).
It is normal to have a few days of difference because the people doing charts of sales start counting a new week on different days. So a new release that wants to top all the charts (or really, just trying to get on one) has to have different release dates. The problem in that case isn't the publishers but the people doing the charts. This right here is a great excuse to pirate, so I am surprised the publishers haven't changed it yet.
To the army occupying the tile. Attackers count the environment on their tile, defenders count the environment on their tile. The bonus/penalty is 10% more/less armor and attack.
Yes, it gives environment bonus/penalty.
Isn't there something in the options? What happens when you disable "Enable turn timer (mp)"?
More like MS+police 1 - Spammers 6 000 000 000 000 000 (that's a lot of zeroes!)
Here's a trailer it was used in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xhAR8rWPluQ&feature=player_detailpage#t=93s
If anyone is wondering what is up in this thread, the 19th of march will have one of the brightest, largest full moons of all year. Edit> Apparently it only occurs once every 18 years.
On my mouse it's the scroll wheel button.
They should have 2 when they're not on a trade route, and 1 when the route is established (I think that's how vanilla works, but I'll look it up) edit: there is the kit in the model pack if you want to have a go at it (not promising to include anything)
Unfortunately, those are beyond my skill when it comes to 3d models.
Alright, I see the problem with the wheat farm now (there are two tiles, but it always stays as "under construction"). There is no wild game tile, because the resource isn't in-game (I'm guessing you are running elementerra2 and getting it). I'm not sure about the lumber mill, but I looked at the design and there is a possibility that it would become mis-aligned due to terrain heights, is that what you mean? Edit: Yeah, I see the issue with the road on the lumber mill. Thanks for the bug repo
I really don't like some software that only works in IE, it should be standard for almost everything to work in FF by now (e-authentication for example).
Can you be a bit more specific about what's wrong? It seems to do the right thing on my screen. If you're thinking about the tooltip, that's from the adjacent buildings (it's nearly impossible to target a single building in a city) I didn't work on FFH2, can't speak for anyone else.
Can't wait for some serious fantasy mods to arrive. The AI is great (could be a bit faster at exploiting weaknesses in strategic mode maybe). This might very well be the best strategy / rts to arrive for a very long time.
