I think isranged causes the spell to use accuracy vs (dodge+dodge vs ranged). Why not just give path of the mage some crit as well?
Derek, maybe it would be suitable to just disable the "use" button on the loot pop-up for certain items? I can't imagine that would be hard to implement.
Path of the mage already give percentage bonuses instead of flat values. That's plenty of scaling with "level".
I just found the Tome of the Inferno with one of my champions. The tome unlocks Fire1 for the champion that reads it. Normally, this action is blocked from the Equipment screen. Hovering over the greyed out use button gives the tooltip "Unit already has this perk". However, in this scenario I used the item on the loot pop-up screen. The result was that the unit, which already had Fire1, consumed the Tome but did not learn the perk. The Use button was not disabled and I
What! I thought Dynasties were turned off... ... congratulations!
It is limited by the number of starting positions in tactical combat maps. Cities have more for defenders (16) while normal maps only have 9 for everyone. If you want to increase the number of units you can just edit the maps' XML to put more positions in there.
Thanks for the heads up!
I'd be happy to sell the Stormworld mod (FE) to players. There's maybe 5% I'd need to re-do because other people helped me with it, but that's pretty much it. I don't think it's really worth real money to the player at this point, but who knows what the future holds. Also there's the inherent assumption in posts above that revenue would be profit, which is not the case. Instead of putting money in my pocket I'd simply buy 3d models and other stuff I nee
They are not juggernauts.
Some are 13-15. Not juggernauts, units just have 1 member instead lf 3-5-7. Equip cloak on trained units for special powers. I will put categories for items in next update on wiki. It is a good idea to have them there.
No list for category reliquary. Frost giants are all alone. I will add empire stuff to wiki befoere 23rd.
@OP I think it is rather obvious that Derek hasn't reached the same conclusion you have when evaluating the criteria. That said, I really hate this change.
Resources can be local, like population. seanw3 actually has a really clever way to accomplish what OP wanted.
One tip which in no way spoils anything and may help you out a lot (it certainly helped me out): you can build multiple structures at the same time. I would also recommend that you start above normal, the pacing is much better on hard.
Units get a -25% to attack and defense when they are in enemy lands
Booo! This might seem like a clever fix to make attacking enemies harder (thereby making the game more difficult). In reality it is going to punish the AI as much as it punishes the player.
There's lots of things I don't know. seanw3 maybe knows. Otherwise you should try to make it work yourself.
1) Open up a texture and start painting! I recommend Gimp. You can see all the links to textures in the XML - search for .png and .dds 2) No 3) No, not yet
I love this game. Yes they did cut some stuff out but it's just so much better than the original. What is there to talk about? I don't even want to write a longer reply because I'm going back to playing it.
Its been a great journey!
It really has, lots of fun for us players too to participate in shaping the game. A special thanks to Frogboy and Derek Paxton for obviously reading and responding to complaints we have about the game.
I'll put in comments in the file so people realize those tags are not for anything.
I don't know.
The basic strategy I use is this: 1) From the start you should be out looting stuff -> exploring -> fighting with your heroes (in that order). They should be doing so without grouping with another champion (summoned creatures or trained units are fine). If you have two champions in the same army they get half XP, even less if you have more champs. 2) Your research should be into civilization in the start. The goal is anything that gives you Production, then Food. Stick t
Oh mate...
Crystal Blade 10 Weight 20 Cutting attack
this is just tags I use for my own purposes. They have no effect whatsoever on the game. I only put info there in the Reliquary file so I can generate this webpage automatically http://stormworld.wikidot.com/reliquary REQ = Reliquary. There's one more called REQicon.
They cut it because they wanted to focus on single player instead. Nothing wrong with that. If they are going to do multiplayer after release, it is clear that it is going to take a significant effort. Therefore, they will most likely only do it if the game sells well. Something to remember is that E:wom was the first game, FE the second. If FE does well, they intend to do a 3rd game. Therefore, multiplayer after release is much more likely because it's not just an investment into
