For those who can read french, there is a (very brief) french review of Elemental. http://www.gamekult.com/tout/jeux/fiches/J000093507_test.html

is the attack exactly 16 million?
... no why not just have the game play for you while you're at it?
based on my experience with the game, at minimum, defense is stacking (it looked like attack was stacking too, but I could be wrong). How do I know defense was stacking? I had a unit (single unit) with 20 attack. My target was a group of 4 enemies, with a combined defense of 32. When I attacked, I missed completely - if defense is not stacking then I should have hit at least one of the opposing enemies.
What do the strategic map tile bonuses do? Some give +50% defense, others give +25%, etc. What do these do? Do they somehow affect a tactical battle's map?
correction: awesomely disapointing AI experience [e digicons]
Oh you're not the only one. I've been saying that the squad combat should more closely emulate MoM's combat - no one has yet to really aknowledge this.
Bah I wish to see how you all can beat AI. Im still losing at Normal difficulty. Yes Kingdom empires are joke but any Empire opponent just smash my army with 10 times more forces.
The AI is little more than a push over ATM on ridiculous (both empires and kingdoms). Maybe you just need to better prioritize your actions.
If special abilities can be added to weapons, what about armor and mounts?
I agree. Stop resetting our preferences please!
made me lul. Does this mean there won't be AI updates for 2+ weeks?
Now, going for quality instead of quantity is even worse.
I disagree. The biggest problem with the combat right now is how attack and defense stack.
Sorry guys, I've just never heard of graphical performance issues that weren't helped by lowering settings That really does suck.
Hey Diamond, since everyone is different and has their own idea of what is an " ideal performance", what is your frame rate at? More importantly, what is your frame rate at when viewing cities? Are you playing on the cloth map or the 3D map? [quote who="ARFF1Tamp
Personally, I think the game should use triangles.
Way to make the game even more imbalanced towards squads.
What are you talking about?
My computer is 2 years old, and running at the highest settings, I get no performance issues at all. I'm wondering if folks with performance issues are turning down their graphic settings and seeing if those issues go away?
If you checked out the performance related thread you'd see that no change in resolution or quality is having an impact on the performance. What is your computer's setup?
from what i read on a preview Frogboy hate them ^^
Did you even bother reading the original post?
Issue is already being discussed here: https://forums.elementalgame.com/391334

I've been asking for this since the beta.
We need (at min) crushing, piercing, slashing and magical damage. Resistances would differ based on armor types and materials used (crystals could decrease damage received from magic-based attacks for example).
Yay for white screen fix. Any progress on the performance issues?
XML is not for functionality: http://www.w3schools.com/xml/xml_whatis.asp . It exists to describe / store data. Wait for the Python to start doing things like random variables and if checks. The only sensible way that "randomness" could be achieved through XML is if the game was expecting an element to have some sort of "probability" attribute.
I had this too - didn't even realize it was a bug though. Debug: http://www.youshare.com/Guest/8216a1c90840cdb7.err.html
