I've found wargs (weren't able to use them since I was a kigndom though).

Funny that you think goldmines are over powered. I was thinking they almost need to be nerfed. Granted controlling 1 gold mine without any bonuses won't result in something amazing. But if you have a level 3 city that controls a gold mine, that chose the money related bonus as both upgrades and has a market as well - the city will be producing tons of gold.
Honestly, there are a 1000 far more important things that need to be addressed before new multiplayer features are added.

I noticed poor fps rates during beta 4 and raised it as an issue... anyway im pleased and grateful you guys are looking into. Keep up the good work, I was just curious why it wasnt spotted during your soak testing...
I also raised the issue multiple times during beta.
Frogboy said in some earlier post that enemy cities would be inherited by other factions of some sort if the enemy sovereign died. I guess this isn't happening [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] .

Oh god no. Don't even think about further reducing the game's spell / ability list. The AI is a pushover right now because they (tactically) just charge after one unit and because (strategically) they just sit around waiting to be conquered.
Nice effect. I think the only thing that needs tweaking is the trail.
Not trying to insult the OP, but are you sure you put the AI difficulty on the hardest for each opponent? There's 2 difficulty settings, the AI for the wilderness stuff (raiders, monsters, etc.) and AI for each opponent. You set each of THOSE to the hardest difficulty and still found it easy? If that's the case, then I'm fairly disappointed as well. I've been playing on normal to learn the game, but I hope they fix it soon if it's that weak

While balance is a major concern, I disagree about it being the top priority. For me the priorities are: 1) Performance 2) AI (strategic / tactical) 3) Balance
Quoting TheProgress, reply 8 Quoting Qyth, reply 6This sounds so disappointing. Hopefully the AI is drastically improved soon. Until then there is little point in playing if there is going to be no challenge. I should have mentioned all opponents were on ridiculous and extreme. Well that's your problem right there. Or are you trying to say the AI is not acting extremely ridiculous?
Yeah, my performance (while better since the last patch) is still quite disappointing. I can't speak for everyone, but the performance of the game is the biggest thing preventing me from enjoying it at the moment.
Maybe next time when almost every beta tester tells them to delay the game, they'll actually listen.

I meet a fellow kingdom (Capitar). Dude says "beware of Kraxis, they wish to kill us all! bla bla bla". Kingdom proceeds to declare war on me. Really? There is some evil upon the world and you want to weaken yourself + allies instead of gangbangin the evil dudes? Idiot. About 50 turns later, Capitar has yet to do shit. I haven't even seen a single soldier headed my way - oh wait, THEY SENT A CARAVAN AT ME. WTF? Was it going to be delivering some small-pox infested blankets? Kr
Performance is slightly better. Honestly, right now the thing making the game the least enjoyable for me is the performance.
Allow those with life magic to sacrifice essence (large amounts) to create fertile ground. Allow those with death magic to gain essence by destroying fertile ground. Also I want to be able to steal princesses (spouses) either through diplomacy or... physical means.
I've noticed that in 1.05 (and indeed, earlier version) the accuracy of detecting whether or not objects are within your "zone of control" (expanded border of your cities). For example i was able to build on a gold mine that was 1 tile out of my zone of control. But in other games, there have been improvements that have just been within my zone that I could not build upon. Same goes for NPCs and trying to recruit them.
