My point is that before any patchwork can start they have to answer several of the "questions" created by the list, and that will take time, and then writing the code for the "answers" they come up with will take even longer. People need to stop /demanding/ a time and let the devs do their work.
Because asking for an estimated date clearly stops the entire office from doing their job. The developers aren't working
Too many people are asking foolish questions like "when?"
What does Brad being away have to do with the majority of non-AI related major issues? Stardock employees aren't just sitting around working on a patch with no idea of when it will be ready to be released.
you guys are like animals about this and forget they already said they got something for this.
Yeah crazy us, wanting to be able to play a game we purchased. I saw a post where they said they managed to get an additional 10 - 20 fps. Hardly a victory when the map is F**KING STATIC. No need to do physics, AI, or anything else in real time - just the rendering of (simplistic but nice) graphics.
They already said they fixed this problem. It was mentioned in a different post where one of the SD Team found what was causing slow FPS over cities and got a noticeable 20-30fps increase or something.
Ah alright, that is good to know.
I thought the game was in betatesting since spring. How a bug like this could slip through to the final release version is quite hilarious, unless they managed to add it in a late build that was never really tested just before release. In the latter case, it's very easy to fix as it would be easy to backtrack the added late changes that caused the problem. If the problem has been there since beta then I have to ask, what was the beta testing g
I saw a review last night where the reviewer said there wasn't even a button to find the next idle city...which there IS, or a button to find the next idle unit...which there IS. Some of the reviews just blatantly lie and don't cover even one of Awesome aspects. If they can't give a whole review, on the the Bad AND the Good, then what's the sense in even reading it? Kudos to this reviewer for going against the flow and telling the TRUTH
Yeah, because in this thread from before release, you can really see how the community was pressuring Frogboy into releasing early.
Heh, I remember that thread. There were two people in that thread: those of us greatly concerned with the deadline and asking to have the game delayed - and those who knew nothing could go wrong at all, and in fact also knew that the people being negative had absolutely no

Actually I would recommend getting Jagged Alliance 2 off Steam. It's not necessarily an RPG - but it does have RPG elements.

I made a very large post about spells and spell books during the beta that seemed to go largely unused for the final game. https://forums.elementalgame.com/389694

I don't agree with the subscription model at all for Elemental - I expect the game to be fixed and refined over the course of the following months to meet their original design goals. DLC is not a bad thing WHEN DONE RIGHT. Yes, companies get greedy and treat people like shit, trying to sell a few maps for $15 dollars, or a couple of new items for $2. But it can be done right and can be a plus for both the developers and the customers. I wouldn't be opposed to Elemental based

Off the top of my head: starcraft 2, mass effect 2, dragon age, dawn of war 2 + expansion, resident evil 5, company of heroes, half life 2, portal, tropico 3, torchlight, fallout 3, GTA 4, left 4 dead 2, borderlands, hell even alpha protocol have all proven to be more enjoyable experiences than what Elemental has has to offer so far.

I'm not a film director so I can't say for sure. I couldn't imagine doing animated work without storyboards - but that may be because there is no way to actually direct animated content in real time. I can't remember the director's name, but I do remember him saying how h
