How does it work? Is it always a set amount for killing a unit/monster or doing a certain quest? Or does it vary depending on what you do in combat? I think it should be set myself. I ask since as my heroes and units acquire experience and can kill enemies faster their advancement seems to stall and top out around lvl 9-10.

Minor issue - It seems that when you cast 3 fire darts in a row the 3rd one doesn't travel from the caster to the target but from some point off to the left to the target. Damage and sound seems correct just the animation. I noticed this while chopping up AI heroes and they keep casting fire dart at me. The unit was mounted if that matters on a grey warg.
My first game there was an odd (not aligned to any faction enemy city) city that I killed a few monsters to take control of in a green area. After I took it over the death shards stayed death shards (I was a kingdom), I thought it odd at the time but didn't know the life-death swap was supposed to happen. This is likely a bug. Sorry I didn't keep any saves of this. But I might have emailed in some files as I got a a lot of crashes in that game.
I just completed a game that had the mountain crusher and the snake in the crevice big baddies in it. They seemed hard unit I realized I could stand back and pelt them to death with arrows. This needs to be corrected. Also these big units are hard to target with ranged weapons and spells, I just set it to auto-play and 1 archer unit took out the mountain crusher in the forest combat area as he didn't fit between the trees. Funny that a monster that can crus
I noticed the max number of units I can have defend a city for example is 9. Can this please be expanded? Even if I can only attack with 9 max if I can defend or the AI defend with maybe up to 27 that would make taking a city much harder. I can typically kill 4-6 units in the first series of attack this would allow defenders to counter and make perhaps sieges a little longer and more fun. Also I'd think a little longer too if I new there was more unit
I got a red potion that healed 100 health and I think fixed all these permanent damage from a quest. I never used it though... I will try it and let you know. You should be able to buy these if they do do this from someone somewhere at some point. Maybe the neautral settlements?
After I completed this quest in FEv0.86 she hung around but was useless. How do you get rid of her/use her? Can we bring back the marriage system from EWOM? I liked that it was kind of fun to get grand kids, load them with sugar and send them off to get killed... well kind of anyway.
I found a hero in very late game (I had 95%) of the map, and its recruit cost was 4000000000+/- gildar. I think there is an error in the presteige vs hero cost system. I sent a screen shot and saved game in. Same issue was in early EWOM too. Thanks.
issue - I've found recently in late game once many cities are build and I control 1/2+ of the map that my units have severe issues moving around/through cities. This became very apparent once my units started walking way around a mountain pass to get 1 square the other side of a particular city. The city blocks passage from one area to another along a thin stretch of land with a mountain range down the center. I've noticed this else where now too as the movement of u
As to my thumb, I guess I'll just say it was from an old Nintendo injury... I was wondering if the tech tree is somewhat random? Also should the higher level choices maybe beyond 2 from what I've researched could be/should be hidden? Just because I'm working on one tech shouldnn't mean I know exactly what my people will figure out over the next 300 years of development.
I like this idea too. Maybe slums spawn automatically at set city population levels and then you could build housing structures that would replace some slums later that could boost the prestige of that city or other bonus(es)? i.e. people in the nice houses you spent resources building would be happier and maybe more productive then the slum only living ones that are crap buildings. Perhaps you could only build 1 house per city level and maybe there'd be 2-3 housin
Is there a place you can see a list of all active enchantments & summons that you have currently running? Maybe with a note of who/what the target is, how much mana it takes per turn for upkeep and if there is an turn limit to it how many turns are left until it ends... Also perhaps a list of who is casting what spells that take multiple turns and how many turns remain to cast? This would be good on a global scale if the AI is casting the end game spell you'd know you have
Can you 'demand' gold, resources, etc from anotehr nation? IF so how. If not why not? The AI does demand gildar form me on occasion.
The 'Ancient Ruins Quest' The abandoned dig that you fight golems in has an issue. Once the first stage is completed the little scrap golem armies that spawn, spawn all over the place regardless of terrain type. I have them all over mountain tops, sea borders, underwater etc & I can't reach them on to kill them.
Given that crystal and metal are resources in the game I would not expect any militia to be able to use any equipment that consumed these rare resources both as an unfair offensive and defensive advantage. Leather armour and low weapons is all I'd expect to see on them, they're not paid, equipped soldiers, they're farmers and stable boys who run out and get mowed down when their city gets attacked. I doubt they should even be in groups larger than 3 given their
I like that idea.
I found this issue after a save was loaded near end of game. All images seem to be missing except shadows, and the part of shrines that are the shards. I email a screen shot in.
Can you add more one per map buildings like Civ & SMAC had (wonders)? You have a few but more would be awesome. I also liked the civ2/smac little movies that play when you build them. Eye candy but kinda cool. Maybe this could be part of the differentiation between the groups? Thanks.
Well i've played a few games and I find the following issues: I also realize I may have completely missed an icon somewhere for some of this but hey it's a beta... 1) How the hell do you cast a spell not in combat? 2) How do you advance in one type of spell casting? I only ever get offered level 1-2 in a few areas to learn. Is this really that random? I have 5000+ mana and can't see how to use any enchantments except combat spells.
I've been having this issue as well. Every combat with Bears (large & small) and a few other wild monsters I've encountered too. The combat freezes when that monster goes to attack my hero in combat. I'll try and upload file when it does it again.
Can you post a Fallen Enchantress Tech Tree like the one for EWOM is posted on its page?
I am finding the very linear path of tech progression a little not so flavorful as well. Perhaps the tech tree can be expanded/branched so depending on what very early techs you pick (and their order) this rules out or includes some specific mid & high (end game) techs same should go for magic. Maybe if I research one area it voids my ability to learn another. That way your early choices are very impactful on late game play and strategy. i.e. I spend the majo
I believe a prenup is a bad plan... and do you really want the remainder of your life to be plagued by complaints from your ever loving spouse? You are braver than I if you do.
I dont like the face book either. I only login once a year or so as is. It usually 'welcomes me back to facebook' which I delete... I dont like most people in person, why would I want them to be my friend on line?
Last I heard the multi player/on line system wasn't very good/worked at all so I've never tried it. I would recommend at this point just to play against the AI and wait for Fallen Enchantress to come out in the semi-near future. Yes the unit building qty selection is a little broken and it is nearly impossible to build a group of fully equipped units in late game. Cheers,
