That's not what I meant... I mean, when a building is done being built, have a notice pop up like the spell research, like they do in Civ, where it says 'So & so city has finished building a barracks,' and you have the option to go to city prod screen or just close. If you close, the city would idle until you go back in and add another job, it wouldn't pop up every turn. On the strategic map, y ou can only tab through your units if you already have a unit selected. It would be convenient if you could tab to the first available unit when you are at the strategic map with nothing selected at all. Also, tabbing to cycle through cities from the city production screen would be handy.

Just started my first game in 3A, and there is a ridiculous amount of huts on the map. It is literally littered with them, and the 4 or 5 I hit all have pretty much the same thing - find an alchemist lab. Sorry I can't elaborate, but I'm outta time & have to go to work.

Will the entire mod be scripted, or will there be campaign / random map versions? Replaying the storyline would definitely be cool, but it would also be cool to just have a randomized 'Dragonlance World' where pretty much anything can happen, like Tanis & Caramon being recruited by the evil factions, or Flint being recruited by gully dwarves (I'm sure he'd love that). It would actually make sense to have some fertile land nearby. If the Sov was going to restart civilization, he most definitely would find some good, fertile ground to start with instead of a patch of dead ground. Well all I'm gonna say is I hope the Empires in Beta 3a have the ability to increase their spell points & mana, so they can use the higher-tier spells, because playing the Empire factions in Beta 3 is just painful.

I can't do it. I've researched everything under Sorcery, Domination, and Imperium. Imperium seems to be stuck at the refined learning/finances techs. Supposedly, under one of the lore techs in Sorcery, I should be able to build some tower to produce sages, who then raise the spell point cap by 2. I can't build any new buildings, or the sages. First, are we supposed to be paying attention to the techs themselves at this point, or were the current techs just 'thrown in there' for the Beta, and not reflective of how the techs will be in the final game? I'd like to see one or maybe a few 'lost schools' of magic, like maybe you can find a rare book of Demonology, from which you can start learning spells of demon summoning, curses, etc.... And yeah it would make too much sense to let shards beef up spells of the appropriate element. Would make shards more useful than just a resource for certain spells. One shard could beef up that fireball, but it wouldn't beef up the volcano because the first one just allows you to cast it

Is it just my game being bugged or something, or is it normal for random encounters to be rare in Beta 3? I mean, extremely rare. Like, this is my 3rd game in beta 3, and in all 3 I've had a continent to myself (playing multiple continents, large map) with not one single beastie wandering around, and a grand total of 1 chest and 1 eq pack across all 3 maps. Pretty sure rivers are an issue they're working on internally. Something about the way they interwine through the current tile set makes them ugly and unnatural looking, iirc.

Still won't place, the tile doesn't get flagged as unavailable, so yeah you can build it over and over but won't see it on the tile. At least I don't. Btw, the same thing happens with Refugee Camps now.
