Haven't gone too deeply into a game yet, but here's some tidbits I have so far: 1. Those 'crowns' in the end of battle summary, what are they? I used to think they were experience, but they're not. The sov always gets 50, the others tend to get 0, though I've seen summoned units get 40. Units will get 0 and still level up afterwards, so those crowns aren't exp. If the crowns aren't needed, maybe they should be ditched and actual exp gained should be shown

I'm getting the invalid call error, and I can't find any memory dumps to post. I'm running Windows 7, and I understand they're *supposed* to be at " C:\ProgramData\Stardock\Elemental - War of Magic", but I have no ProgramData folder on my C root drive. I have Elemental installed to my D drive, if that makes a difference, but I've been through the install directory and can't find any dumps or programdata folder there either. I reloaded my system t

I can't seem to use either editor. If I go into tile editor it comes up with a black screen. In map editor, after I set the map settings and click 'create map', it freezes. I'm just curious as to how the rivers are coming along? I understand the team was having an internal issues with getting them to work & look right. I haven't seen any in any of the later Betas, nor have I seen any recent mention of them in the beta forums/dev journals etc, so I'm wondering if they were fixed in time for release, or if we should expect to see them in a future update or expansion. Thanks!

i hope they do it the way it was implemented in MoM as opposed to AoWSM. In AoW, while the forge was fun, all you could do was make minor items with up to three effects, from the same pool of abilities as every other wizard. In MoM, you could also make artifacts, and the effects you could use were dependent on the spells you had researched.

Nah, it wasn't a minor faction, unless they have Sovs too. I defeated the Sov a few turns before, and he escaped to the city. I ended up fighting the Sov again, his spouse, and 1 or 2 starter combat units. I forget what faction it was, but they didn't do squat during the game. The Sov just stood there right above the city turn after turn. Edit - Forgot I had a savegame at the start. The leader's name is Yoren, from the faction Val'Diri - whoever that

Spell Books - the ones that give you bonus arcane knowledge points - may need to be looked again. I think it would be better if those books actually contained some random spell, with the percentage chance of finding a given spell being higher the cheaper & more common a spell is. ^^ Of course man, no need to even ask. Heck, some of those aren't mine at all; I know I saw the bit about champs spawning in inns in the threads before. Anyway I really hope somebody implements a Bard's Tale or a D&D 'Gold Box' game style menu for inn options, as sort of a homage. That would be cool to see.
