Last one, I promise :) I know goodie huts are getting replaced, I don't know if this applies to inns... It doesn't make sense to me that inns are treated the same as other goodie huts: visit, get a quest, finish it, inn disappears. It's an inn, a building with (I'm assuming) people visiting and working there, maybe even living there. How about making inns rarer, but also make them permanent structures. They could do several things: 1.&nbsp

Unfortunately I feel like this aspect has been lost - I don't really get the feeling that the Sov is healing the land, which IIRC was a core component of the lore. Cities spread green across the ground as they expand, but that's about it. To me, the Sov is basically a king that can also cast spells, and really has no connection to the land at all. I'm not sure what to do to enhance this, but one thing could be to have separate 'land improvement' spells that use

Just wondering... I've been fighting bandits who were equipped with swords & bows, yet when I kill them all I get are gildar. What happened to their weapons? I always seem to get the same amount when fighting bandits, 50 I think. Instead of carrying a set amount of gildar, maybe those bandits carry a random 20-50 gildar, with a chance that any weapon they are using also survives the battle and is thus lootable, so instead of 50 gildar, maybe you got 26 plus on

I was messing with my neighbor last night, sending my sov & some champions over to her city and taking out units I found wandering around outside. I found some structures that were built outside of the city walls, and I wanted to destroy them. I sent my group over to the buldings, but they just sat on them, and when I moved them off the buildings were still intact. I don't know if there's some kind of requirement that has to be met before you can destroy structures that

1. No, I didn't try clicking the fields themselves, I'll try that. 2. I did already research superior farming, in order to reach the granaries. Two of those gave me an extra food for a hut, allowing my main city to reach level 3 and then... 3. Built a wheat farm in my main city, through the normal build window. Which led me to believe the wheat farm was a level 3 building, but the building desc. says level 1. I have anoth

Are we supposed to be able to build wheat farms in this beta, because if so I can't build any. I have a city flanked by two wheat fields, well within my borders (only 3 city tiles away) and yet I can't harvest them.

I finally feel like I've found the project I've been looking for to leave my mark on the modding community. This is going to be SO EPIC. I haven't been this excited about doing mod work in a long, Long, LONG time. Thanks Brad, and a big Thank You to the Whole Team.
Dude, I'm right there with ya. I'm no modder, I

Instead of it producing materials, it could lower the workforce required for each building in the settlement by a certain percentage. This would represent slaves/non citizen races/forced labourers doing the lowest, most demeaning, physically demanding, or dangerous jobs that your citizens would rather not do. The drawback being that the building

Would be cool if, once an inn is visited, it's quest wasn't 'locked down' for just the one who explores it first. That way one of those wandering champions could visit an inn and steal a quest out from under you, if you take too long to complete it.
If you're experiencing this we need your debug.err file with the detailed system info.
Sorry for the delayed response to this, Kryo. I forgot about this thread. Anyway I went to enable advanced lighting to see if it was still an issue before supplying the debug & dxdiag files, and it said that my video card doesn't support the required textures, so it stays disabled. Guess that's why I was getti

I couldn't my Sov or Queen with the soldiers cloak, yet the other champions were able to wear it. I'm playing a Kingdom faction, and can't see any reason why the cloak isn't equipable by the sov or queen. On a side note, the unit type for the sov isn't champion or even sovereign anymore. When he goes up a level it says he is now a level X "sovereign name', like his name is his unit type. Haven't paid attention to what it says for the queen. Maybe that has

Agreed. Personally I'd like to see the return of the 'summoning circle' from MoM, instead of just summoning to where the sov is. Nah, scratch that. Summoning to the sov's location does make more sense, instead of him calling up a demon that appears on the other side of his empire.

You can build multiple merchant buildings, provided you place them at the same time as the first one. I haven't seen any other buildings that you can do this with, though I haven't tried very many.

Dang, I thought the 'being able to build stuff w/o researching the tech' thing was just enabled for the Beta so we can get to the late game quicker. Personally, I don't like being able to build mines & such withouth researching mining first... And we really need to be able to build lumber yards (or whatever they're called, mills?) in regular forests. Maybe let old growth forests grant more resources, but right now regular forests are useless. At least

Definitely need to let champions use Charisma for something. A champion's charisma should also be viewable from the champ's stat screen instead of the equipment screen, as it is now. My Sov ain't about to marry some chick with a crappy Charisma (read - personality), and I hate having to give her some item just so I can see what the value is...

Just found this one m'self. Didn't have my economy or research high enough to notice a difference, so I can't say which one it improved for sure.

Surely it should be something you decide on and I would do it as easy as queuing the upgrades into the normal train queue.
Yeah, auto-upgrade wouldn't be good. Definitely agree with being able to upgrade units though; maybe to limit the exploitation factor say the units would still have to be queu'd up, maybe for a few turns to be outfitted and trained in the new eq.
