But, for who pre-ordered after Beta1 closing date, they will be able to get beta2, aren't they? And, I know it can be postpone, but as today, it should be in February, right?
End of February is Beta 2 (if everything goes well) and yeah, if you have preordered a bit late for Beta 1, you are still fine for Beta 2+.

If the best he can get with a Charm Spell is two spiders... I mean, where are the ladies? Good to see that the basic magic system is getting finally some attention. It really feels weird to have Elemental: War of Magic without any actual magic to use.[e digicons]o_O[/e]

Hello. It's not going to be released any time soon. Still in Beta 1 (of 5). Maybe around september... Edit: Beta schedule --> https://forums.elementalgame.com/363844 And according to Stardock, the release will be: "When the consensus is that this is the best turn-based strategy game of its kind available.". It's going to be a looong wait.

It doesn't make sense that it can take more turns to train an elite paladin unit than to research some techs. Yet, that will happen from time to time depending on conditons. Even if we assume that people more or less kept their knowlledge base but was unable to use until the sovereigns started resurrecting the lands (bringing back the conditions for scientific research, turns being just the time to reimplement "lost" knowledge one step at a time), there is always be a problem between the corr

Too much Benjamin Franklin, spirit of capitalism and survival of the fittest? Maybe some added and still not assimilated traces of Cold War? Some people would lose money with a "socialist" healthcare system? People don't want to give money for other people¡s health? (why bother with Haiti or similars then? Maybe because it's somehting puntual in time?)

So the loyal, honest customer that doesn't have/use internet connection for his single players games doesn't count? So gaming, elitist by itself, now needs to be more elitist (instead of just removing DRM completely and treat customers as such). Yeah, capitalist companies with execs with large salaries (remember, when in crisis it's code monekys and company who pay the price, not the people at the top with huge salaries) need a new generation of customers that give away all their righ

And why would you subscribe for a game that has a life expectancy of 6 months (according to some companies, because obviously no one plays the same games for so long... just take a look at Mas

Isn't enough "doom clock" that once someone finds the Ring, if he doesn't get rid of it in X turns, he loses the game? (if Sauron is alive, the lands of the "fallen" surrender to him as he succumbs to darkness; if Sauron is dead, he changes into "Sauron" and could get some serious retcon in the research and magic areas, being forced to adapt to the changes) That means that once someone finds the Ring, he only cares about power or he tries to destroy it even if it's only not to be destroyed by
