Strategy on how to hit on the cute elven chick. And her twin sister.

The most recent posts supersedes older posts. Frogboy supersedes BoogieBac. Ergo Beta 1G (which for us normal beta players means to get Beta 1E, 1F and 1G at the same time) is delayed to February 18th unless new changes in plans happen. Uber beta 2 was supposed for last weeks of February but I wonder if it is already delayed to the first weeks of March? Froggy? Any speculative info about Beta 2 for those users waiting to join the Beta, oh mighty CEO of the Navalis Astra?
I want humans with cat ears, fangs, cat tail and pointy and hard like steel nails. Shapeshifting secondary abilities welcome. If mating doesn't allow such thing, I would need some flesh sculping abilities/magics.:P

Regular old American (or wherever, no time for the Google) Sarah just seems a tiny bit out of place in a fantasy game.
Same names and words in different languages exist without having similar meaning. Just saying. John is also known as "bathroom/
You cannot say that you delay the beta and at the same time tease us with a video. No way. [e digicons]:'([/e] In the good side, we got a video (even if small). It's good to see a shaved Lady Sarah.
Here I have to disagree. Even if the Sovereign is "immortal" you are not really that person - in that case it would turn into a 1st person shooter kind of game. You play (you are) the sovereign as long as he lives. When he dies you continue to play as his heir. The whole charm of a strategy game like this is to build your empire. Whether it's based on a major character or not and whether he/she is immortal is another matter. <em
but alas the espionage system in Elemental is likely going to be rather stunted and not fit for victory status...... The problem with this system is that size really does matter, so you need some effective and robust way of gaining territory through non-military means: better means of annexation, magical flipping, and/or spy-based subversion. I get lots of Egads lately so I have get used to copy the content of my posts before "Post Reply". :/ On topic... too complex? Not a bad idea but... I'd see easier some kind of random after battle event in which a sqaud can get upgraded by the enemies' equipment (if appropiate).

It would be cool to figure out how to code who finds whom attractive.
Attractive = CharismaScore +/- Race. Race wouldn't just be Human or Fallen, but a value that goes up and down in the scale depending of the "purity" of the person (being human or fallen, with ascendanc
I coined the phrase, but I'm not very hopeful about seeing such a fundamental strategy branch make it into the finished game.
I don't think it'll see Gold if it ever sees light at all. It's an idea that seems just too different. And Stardock already has lots of works with many features and 12 different factions. I'd see it more as an expansion pack topic. I do like the idea of going Gandalf but such event would require:
I don't buy the magic empires thingie. Not a tiny bit. In order to not to write a huge wall of text about why, I'm going to stick to my first sentence.
Many threads in this forum about the same topic say: read us.[e digicons]:X[/e]
No one thinks of the "goblins". No one cares that their children can become human-like and spoil their prisitine "goblin" beauty? Does no one care of those players who enjoy looking at their hideous creatures and scions and that would be forced to have scions with an appearence similar of those humans???
No one will want to make a marriage with the goblin types and everyone will always marry the Slaaneshland guys.
Next week's lotto numbers, please? So it's fine to have hideous creatures to fight for you but it's not good if they are supposed to be the descendants of your Sovereign? Really? And by same logic, no one will want to play Fallen because they won't have pretty units to look at? (supposing Slanesh type fallen, aka pretty
Comebacks should be only possible for players still in the game (aka with real chances of victory). One hopeless player shouldn't get by chance or miracle they ways to come back and win the game. If the player didn't play well and/or was soundly beaten by other, "magical" victories no thanks. (Mega Events are exceptions due to their own nature) But if that player still has actual "resources" and is only in need of a good tactical/estrategical event/moment/option/chance to get the uppe
Really looking forward to seeing how children look, and how it turns out in the end as well. I hope we'll have a generator that can generate a person who looks unlike anyone we've seen in many many many games previous so that we can say things like "Remember prince Jeffery of mine in that one game we played that had that crooked nose and the little john style haircut?" I want to be able to recognize faces and not see them over and over again f
Ironically, behind the scenes, the full 3D transformation does take place but beta testers can’t see i.
You are so eeeeeeeeeeeeeevil. You could always give us some "sanctioned by the marketing department" videos of some of those spells that are "boring" in the cloth map. ;)

My reference to 12 Sovereigns was about the story not about gameplay elements (beyond the basics provided by Stardock for single player campaign). We will be able to create our own factions(and Sovereigns) so I don't see any reason why AI couldn't use them for solo games.[e digicons]o_O[/e]
12 factions (6 human kingdoms, 6 fallen empires), each one with a Sovereign. Multiplayer is a different beast in which factions can be used by more than one player (I suppose).
Rumour buffer: stack of false rumours. Maybe some random easy and unimportant quests in them. All added to the rumour mill. Event tracker: Kingdom X has new princess Y, Kingdom D's army stenght dropped 20%, Empire Z has a ??% of its army composed by the same unit... All those added to the rumour mill, but before being added there is a chance of altering the info added (depending on event), like Kingdom D's army strenght dropped by 60% instead of 20%.
M.U.D. TV - Mad, Ugly, Dirty Television
This. Anyone following this? I saw its preorder in Impulse the other day (said it was released in january though?) and seems quite interesting. I read in the official forums about being a "reboot" from Mad TV, a game I never played anyway. The people in the game reminds me of that from The Political Machine 2008 (bobbleheads?) and the idea of being able to create your own shows and all that reminds me
