I blame Luckmann. Always trying to get those damn bears in Elemental. Go tiger cavalry, go! :P Also, bears have the right to have fun in the playground!!!

I'm getting old, what can I say?[e digicons]:pout:[/e]
I prefered a more mundane and heroes with artifacs based approach, except qhen playing for Archangel Army. Never used the ssaguy when playing on Myrran. No way I'm playing a lizard. XD
A test is this.
Troops aging is solved the same way as "gender in population and gender in armies and how they won't be never unbalanced no matter how you recruit": a channeler did it. Without elements for the aging of the population and its renovation, aging for troops wouldn't make sense at all (at least I see it as a "all or none" element). Heirs are an isolated and very concrete element that doesn't have anything to do with the populations and/or armies so in this case it's fine (and ne
They had Stardock as Publisher. Not EA, not Atari, not Activision... they had Stardock. Minor detail but also important.
I would end the database space in a matter of minutes. :P Two days in the week and I have already almost 10, and only using Elemental forums. Five days to go! XD
That stuff aside, has anyone caught a solid hint from dev-land that the canon game will have undead of any sort at all? The percentage question really depends entirely on the metaphysics (the myths/stories that the devs choose or write) for undead in Elemental. It could be anything from 0-100 percent sentients, if they're even in the game at all.
<img src="http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y26/Utaku_Areka/Risen_Wolf_Me
Argh! Evil! You almost make me want to have an account with the bird. XD Pretty box.[e digicons][/e] I wonder if Trinity's going to reach other countries?
And there I was, thinking that this was going to be a thread about the consequences of playing the Beta.[e digicons]:S[/e] It really sounds ridiculous that you can get curses (and be cursed) and no way to break them.

During the beta some people has lost during their first turn.[e digicons]:P[/e]
I read yesterday in the Paradox forum that a map editor will be released prior to the release of the expansion pack.
Actually I found some games not to be suitable for adults of any age too (such as Carmagedon).
? I didn't have any problems with that when I was a kid so I must suppose that mature adults just looking for some silly fun shouldn't have any either. I thought that rating were for about which ages people are supposed to be mature enough to understand the content they are seeing. Anyway, it's a fact that many parents don'
Artificer, Alchemist, Fame, Warlord, Charismatic plus something else, starting with the fewer books as possible (usually only Life magic). That was the way I liked it more. Myrran or not.
I don't think it's a matter of liking or disliking the idea but of "Does the Elemental lore allow it?". For what we know of it right now, the top dogs are Dragons and (with time) Sovereigns. Maybe Titans if they ever appear in game? Everyone else is a pus... not so strong. There might be beings not as powerful as dragons but still interesting enough to be a menace (and suitable for "interspecies breeding"). Gods? We don't know if there are any (no indications of such) and/or if there is any k
How much time a tull represents it's totally useless. It could never be precise enough. How many turns will an average game last will depend of the game mode, number of players... Scope? No one really knows. I'd vote for some centuries so there is room for some generations in the dinasties and to show how the Sovereign lives a lot more than everyone else.
Although Warcraft II was quite good (and with editor), it felt really stupid with totally forced similar sides/roles (elven archer/troll, knight/ogre...). It was fun that I was hoping for some more differences. And no wolf riders??? :( And what's wrong with female Draenei? They are cute. XD I don't buy the "wolf people" though. I could more or less accept the blood elves (pretty people for the Horde, yay! [e digicons]>_>[/e] ) but those "wolves"... Next expansion, pandas for Alliance
turn-based combat
Mass Effect didn't have it so why would Mass Effect 2 have it? XD The only thing I dislike of Mass Effect 2 is the Bypass minigames. Only bearable with the tool that doubles the time to beat them. (I'm clumsy like that, sue me) The hacking minigames are fun though.
I think that capturing some kind of mosnters to unlock "secret" techs would be nice. For the rest, at best give bonuses to already known techs. Spoiler about Monty Python and the Holy Grail below: They had the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch!!!! [e digicons]:O[/e] End Spoiler :P
Vampires can be good, as long you pretend twilight and all those other vampire-romance mishmash piles of lunacy don't exist.
man, I appreciate all your effort Wintersong. I'm a little sad you didn't pick a more role-playing oriented system (as Luckmann expressed) but then again, I guess we don't know enough about the world at this point to justify it.
I pick D&D (in general actually, 4E is for the more mundane details) as it's what I have DMed more. And for a non advanced mod, seems to fit better a TBS, focusing in combat and quests. T
Futa > * And with that, back to the topic!
Yeah, before it degenerates even more. XD In next beta we are going to get the first steps in dinasties so we will see how it starts and be able to ask more precise questions and/or offer more precise suggestions. Just remember that if it doesn't fit Elemental's background, we enter the lands of mods.
In 4E Paladins can be of any aligment. They are mostly Good but there are no limitations now. So, for example, The Raven Queen, neutral Goddess of Death, Winter and Fate has her share of neutral Paladins.
