Do you or anyone else for that matter know WHAT the amount of turns is an alliance lasts? Iirc non-agg treaties last 50 turns.
Star Adder
Jep, I second that. Had the same thing happening. Also the quest scrolls mostly produce the same quests over n over....
Errr, maybe I'm blind and/or stupid. But so far I haven't found a way to end treaties let alone an alliance. Someone here able to enlighten me?
Well, my merry band of sov, champ and two spearmen sacked the only city of Karavox, which was luckily for me a well built fortress. So producing more units to supplement my army was easy. Magnar had surpassed me in terms of power rating and the Tarth too (THREE TIMES my rating!!! :o ). Only faction weaker than me is Porcupinee. Payed Tarth roughly 400 gildars to go to war with Magnar since it is my only chance of expanding more. Once I have sacked as many Magnar cities as possib
Update: I finally found out how it works. Units that require a certain ressource to train only appear in your training selection list if you have AT LEAST ONE of those ressoures in your ressource pool. In my case the Mages did not appear in my training selection list until I had a single crystal. Once I had a few crystals they were listed along with the Chosen. And if you click on them you see that they cannot be trained because training requirement is 20 cryst
No, I didn't. It would be helpful if troups and buildings had a list of their prerequisites in their tech tree description (the small hint text that pops up when you mouse over the respective mini icon under the tech tree item, you know). Or if their would be a piece of documentation that list them. Would help a lot with tacical research item selection.
Ah, cheers! Since I haven't played Tarth yet it might be some sort of troup upgrade.
As Altar faction I have researched the nescessary tech that show mages as one of the things it unlocks. But in my train list the mages don't show up! Other troups like Redguard show with a note that I can't build them due to lack of metal but no mages! Could someone plz enlighten me?
I keep reading about some mysterious master scouts in here. How do you get those?! And no, I'm no beta tester, so I'm pretty much new to the game.
Dunno if it's just me having that glitch, but at some time during the game the water and waves vanish and instead only sand is visible. Also less often the progression lines between the research items in the tech tree are gone or the combat field outlines. And sometimes also the tile yields. All of them show again after relaunching the game. NOT after reloading though...
WHOA! Starting out with hard or challenging, I guess I would fail miserably... I like to start on normal to get into the game mechanics and later crank up the difficulty.
Started playing Saturday afternoon paused for 8 hours sleep at 2 a.m. Continued at 10 a.m. till 10 p.m. Results (I always play medium maps with everything on random and normal difficulty) 1st heat: Played Wraiths, focused on magic research. Took ages to find space for new settlement, recruited lots o heroes, advanced in magic a lot due to lots o shards. Everything went well until the Tarth(?) declared war on me due to to much trespassing. Suddenly, so did everyone else

Hrm... I just finished installing the game. So obviously my download (using FF) worked. Had a hang though at 86%. But after hitting pause and resume everything went smoothly.
There is no such thing as watching to much Babylon 5.
Yeah, you're right of course!
I haven't actually watched an episode in some time.
Shame on you!!! [e digicons];P[/e] More on topic: Purchased the game two hours ago - download is on 97%.

Just wanted to know how the chances are that I'll be able to play the game in full graphics mode on an Intel Core i5 560M Dual-Core, 2.66 GHz notebook with an onboard Intel GMA HD Shared Memory GPU and 4 GB DDR3 SDRAM - PC3-8500 - 1066 MHz under Win7x64. I've asked the same question a long time ago whiel the game was still in development. But now that the game is out maybe one of the devs could post a quick answer. It would be highly appreciated.
*rofl* dream on...! [e digicons];P[/e]

*lol* If you google the old game titles you'll find play videos on youtube for many of em.
Well, if we're talking 8 bit sprites and such that would be Choplifter, Beachhead and Pharao's Curse. As in more game like games it would be Bard's Tale III.

I'd opt for Avira. Tests about two months ago indicated it's amongst the best when it comes to identification of most recent malware, removal of such and preventing false positives.
