I also had that message that a NAP expired one turn after signing it and twice even with an alliance. However, when I checked my diplo screen I was still allied and that never changed...

quoting jwallstone: "Game crashes frequently upon saving or loading. This happens about once every 3 to 10 saves/loads, depending on the game's mood" Errr, nope! Haven't had that happening even once... As for my whishlist I'll stick to things not constantly being mentioned by others. 1: As it was mentioned a few times: Make AI actually design it's armies according to an overall plan AND to what we hurl at them. Especially Mages se
Do you mean you see the background but no sov in it?
No, the whole pic is simply pitch black.
Doh, did not even think about editing the file...
Heh, same here! Thanks Sanati for pointing that out!
First time here after a long time of absence. Will check... edit: Well, I'm not a fanboi of some sort, though I appreciate the game and SD's effort to make up for E:WoM. But most of what you have reported are nuisances. Major ones at best. But no real show stoppers. At least in MY book. The issue of AI settling on ressources or other "forbidden" tiles and execution of planned moves upon loading a savegame are major bugs that should easily be fixe
I always play against random opponents, so I can't tell whether I experience mixups or not. But I currently play a game in which I can't see my sov's pic in my world map army list and in the lower left corner. When I click on the lower left and the details page comes up, the pic shows, however. First time though. My other custom faction leaders all show. Did anyone have the same phenomenon yet?
Cool! Thanks for the info!
I have created a new race and entered a flavor text. But obviously that text got lost when I changed the sign. Imagine my surprise when I started a new game, clicked on my new race and the text just said: "Make it good!" So plz. either take care that the text stays when you chose a sign or even better: Make it possible to edit the text after creation.
I have a question that most might conseider stupid. But be aware of the fact that I haven't played much with custom races yet. If I create a new race, play that race and design new troops during that game, will those designs also be used by the AI if I start another game with a different race and amongst the selected opponent races is the one I created before and designed troops for? I think it would be fun playing against your own creations but only as long as they also u
And what bugs would that be in your opinion?
Some other probs with the AI I have witnessed so far are: - Not grabbing free loot: I had the AI snatch some free loot in the late game once. But mostly it ignores the green chested tiles. edit: Will obviously be fixed in 1.20 - Not attacking heroes it can't hire (what I always do if I think my troops survive that) - Using a research tactic: AI seems to focus on building things and training troops early. But I don't think I've seen i.
I just realized that I still have a final savegame from that game before I won through conquest. Turns out the growth section in my settlement also says: Heart of Moria (10%). So, either they simply forgot the percent symbol in the flavor text or my eyes and/or mind played tricks on me. Thanks for pointing me in te right direction. Next time I'll doublecheck before posting. Still, I hope they're going to pump up the percentage a bit.
Since Stardock is making a map pack available how about also doing a monster pack? After playing a few games one knows the weak spots of almost all the monsters currently in the game. Would be nice to face some new challenges... I know the game is first an foremost about taking on the other factions. Still it would be a nice addition IMHO.
That girl on the right is cute! [e digicons][/e]
I'm not talking about some ordenary item, Tuidjy. I'm talking about the heart that you get after killing that big wasteland monster that lurks where all the haunter/plaguestalker/naja monster groups are. It's called "whatever of summer whatever". And I'm quite sure (though not a 100% sure) that the flavor text said it gives +10 to city growth and not +10% which would be rediculously low taking into account that you had to kill a 600 hp boss monster for it...
At least not what the flavor text says. There is no +10 growth in my settlement I assigned it to.

BAH, unluckily I don't have it anymore. I guess I'll try again in my current game as Resoln. And since we're at it with savegames: HOW do I generate a new savegame?! So far I was only able to save over the old savegame from the tutorial. When I just hit save nothing happens (like a pop up box asking for a name for the new savegame). Only when I choose either that old tutorial savegame or one of the auto-saves can I actually save...
Yeah, I know that it takes 10 turns. There is even a progress bar for it below the power bars of the factions you've met, and a red X in a silver circle above your sov's army. Still, after the 10 turns were done the progress bar disappeared as did the silver circle, I heard what sounded like a strong gust of wind, and that multispectral shimmering light a few tiles from were my sov stood appeared. Nothing more...
I'm not quite sure if this is a bug or if I have misunderstood the concept of the Spell of Making but when my sov casted it while a champ of mine was simultaniously doing the Master Quest I didn't win. I only heard wind and saw some multispectral light shimmering wheree my sov stood baut that was it.
Yeah, it works. Had it showing also a few times.
No, but that's a good idea! Will do that next time.
Would be coincidental then since I fought various units with them.
Last night I had the first hang\crash. I lost one of my cities (let's name it XY) to marauding monsters. And when I accidentally clicked on an earlier "XY has finished Smelter" event message on the right hand screen side the game hung up\crashed. Thought you might wanna know...
I have cast Mantle of Fire on a few Defender groups. But when enemies hit them they (teh enemy units) don't show any sign of losing HP.
