And instead of staying true to their word that FE will get patched further - NOTHING. Just as I expected... I'm not surprised. But wished SD wouldn't have made that bold statement in the first place...
Star Adder, are you saying the AI is incapable of dominating any faction with multiple cities (even on ridiculous)?
No, I was just pointing out that they usually just attack my border settlements and don't try to sneak up from behind. And usually I have no probs if I'm only fighting a single faction. Had to give up though when suddenly EACH faction declared war and sent armies of 1000-2000 hitpoints to take my cities from all sides coz I didn't have
if the AI still won't attack undefended outposts and cities
Well, outposts haven't been targetted much in any of my games. Cities however have been attacked a lot in my last one (on Ridicoulous to have a challenge) ). Though mostly just the ones adjacent to AI's settlements. Not even a sign of AI trying to flank me and attack cities farther away from the front lines...

*LOL* I wasn't implying that you - or anyone else for that matter - made something up. I just meant that I do believe that the devs actually take the time to do that when it has been done. Coz when there is no time... As they say: The way to hell is paved with good intentions... [e digicons]B)[/e]

Nice to see nothing has changed eversince FE 1.3 in that matter. Just had a game in which even the goodie huts right next to its settlements have been ignored by the AI factions. [e digicons]:|[/e]

Great peace of action that! Though I'm wondering why he wasn't going for a Shawarma at the end. ;) Instead: "When did you lose me?! :D Can't wait to see The Avengers 2... Too bad it's two more years... :(

Probably something wrong about your rig then. I'm running it on a notebook with mediocre tech and it's starting and running just fine. Not a single CTD in hundreds of game hours...
armies of 2-4 pioneers
In my case it is more of 5 to 8 pioneers per army... And just yesterday I had discovered five more pioneer armies at the far east of the map (the bigger stack was up north).

I'm playing on a large atm. And when I entered a small part of the map I had not entered before, after the fog had lifted I faced 10 ( in words. TEN) armies consisting EXCLUSIVELY of Pioneers. I passed them by and kept on exploring. Like 30 turns later when I returned to the very spot they still stood there stargazing. Ideas anyone? Anyone?! Bueller?! Anyone?!

Yep. You misunderstood. One purchase - one game. The thing is that FH is a so called standalone expansion that you can play without having the original FE game as opposed to normal expansions for which you have to have the base game.

Beastlord isn't just fun at the beginning. I am in the late stages of my current game and have a Beastlord running around with two Hoarder Spiders, two Ravenous Harridens, one Silt Skath, one Plague Stalker and one Naja. She harself is a life archmage. So you can imagine that this merry band is practically unstoppable. Sacking well defended cities is a piece o' cake for them. *grin*
it's very simple just not to use them.
Maybe, but I'm not buying or playing a game to not use some units because they're overpowered or available too early. It's up to the devs to get it right either in the first place or later on. One good step towards that was to ensure that the AI finally also makes use of em. Do YOU let your unitsfight with pitchforks when you have swords available?!

I've wrapped that into some reply the other day. But I really can't stress enough that I do think that Mages are becoming available way to early into the game. Due to the fact that magic apparel like cloaks of 50% fire/cold restistance are becoming available much later than Mages, it is quite easy to mop up entire armies with a hand full of Mages in the early game (not that the AI would wrap it's troops into those cloaks anyway...). So, maybe it would be a good ide
it is a Strategic one that allows you to sacrifice city-population to increase the health of the caster (but he can no longer heal naturally
Oh THAT! I though as much. But I wasn't sure. Yeah, found that but thought some other circumstance added it. The thing with the adjacent cities could be a cause. But hey! I just accidentally declared war on the Kraxis anyway. So in a few turns those cities will be gone. [e digicons]}:)[/e] And I'll know for sure wh

Dunno whether it is a bug or I am missing something. But after killing all guardians including the Death Demon and seizing all lairs and the dark spire I still can't settle or build an outpost in the Imperium wildland. Also I have no idea what the dark spire gave me. In the flavor text I think it said something about a spell. But I have no idea which one it added.

Warehouse is quite nice, yes. Sanctuary was a good show. But as with all shows it lost over the years. Best example for that being Eureka. Man, at the end I was quite happy it ended. Plotholes the size of a supermassive black hole, characters got flat as a superstring and lots of lose ends. And don't get me started on teh time travel thingy - though bringen Baltar in was a nice idea. Akashic field thread - dead end Mission to Titan thread - never explainded why t f
