The major question is whether FH will have the same AI flaws FE has. Sorry, Frog. But in my current game a pretty strong AI army is standing around doing nothing at all for 20 turns now. And it looks like it's not gonna change that. So I feel entitled to state that it is far from perfect. So, personally I would wait a long while after FH's release and study the forum (especially the support section) before I'd do the purchase. Nice avatar, btw hubi..
Castle (sue me! ) Again, not a bad show... good for a giggle and a bit of suspense at times. Firefly probably why I like Castle... Nathan Fillion.
Yeah, Nathan Fillion is great! Also a few members of the Firefly cast had roles on Castle over the years. And Molly Quinn is TO DIE FOR gorgeous!
Supernatural Not bad... has its moments
Like this one (if you know CSI: Miami) [e digicons][/e] [e digicons]B)[/e
etherlords 2 (pretty hard)
Seriously?! I played through it on each available path quite easily. Granted, the blinking creatures were a prob at first. But once I knew what the nescessary spells were, it got quite easy to beat them. Same with the one dude that kept casting spells that increased your casting costs and such.
Be sure you aren't playing the expansion or the Wildfire version.
Could be it. Not sure though

Despair is highly overpowered IMO. I remember in one of my first games I got my hands on two scrolls of Despair. Sacked two very well defended cities without a single blow being exchanged. Apart from that I had the same thing happening. Thought I wouldn't make it out alive anyway so I hit auto-resolve. Imagine my surprise when the victory screen appeared...
How would a dragon know my hero is fire immune? I understand the Fire elemental, but in a lot of ways, there wouldn't be anyway for the computer to know.
Very valid point! Personally I don't think high res or immunity should be of any concern when determining how and when to attack units. Now, that I think about it, even webbing ranged units is not a bug/misbehaviour since spiders don't know what the

Well, a lot of bugs/misbehaviours HAVE been reported numerous times in a productive way and still haven't been worked on like e.g. the AI settling on spots where no settlement is possible or the webbing/beguiling of units on which this is useless or the AI ignoring threats like its units being pounded while it goes for the unit with the lowest HP or weakest defense. Instead new spells have been added, game mechanics have been been changed back and forth because obviously they haven't
I have faith it will get tended to ASAP when time permits.
Nope. Brad stated that he wont code a single new line for the FE AI coz he is pissed that people still complain about a number of flaws it still has. He stated that if you don't like it the way it is then go fuck yourself and don't play his game although you have paid for it. Which is by the way the same thing that happened when folks complained about the GalCiv AI... Also

Then you really DO SUCK rock through a straw, sorry. Seriously, I win ALL of my games on challenging. ANd I am far from being a super tactician or such.

May I remind y'all that in MoM the cost of retreat was loss of units? And that makes perfect sense compared to fame loss or such (noone but you and the opposing army knows of your cowardice). Why? Because while you run like the chicken that you are, your units can be backstabbed, shot in the back, have spells hurled at their backs etc. It is debatable though whether special traits like quick/fast or being a mounted unit should result in a lesser probability of losing that

Since I have disabled all victory condition options but conquest victory, I always have to resort to violence. *grins* But only AFTER I have done all the available quests and mastered the wildlands. I used to play medium maps with everything on random but sometimes I ended up with no wildlands at all. That was boring. So right now I'm playing a large map with random resources, many heroes (my sov has adventurer profession and my faction has traitor trait mind you :D), dens

Hehe, in my last game I had like two 8/7/3 cities thanks to adjacent clay pits an wild grain spots. Helped my finances and war machinery quite a lot. This time though it's like a curse. I'm stuck with three cities (1 fortress, 1conclave and 1 town) that I'm low on income an hence can't finance a big enough army to conquer my opponents' settlements and researching better financial building takes ages.

I'm starting over when I'm leveling each opponent's army and it is becoming obvious that I'm gonna conquer each settlement no matter how well protected it is. Next game is definitel gonna be on a level bove challenging...

Not so long ago there was a 1.4 changelog in the dev journal section but it's gone. Does that mean work on it is gonna be post-poned to concentrate on FH? Just curious...
shouldnt be so....unless both sides agree...
Err.. I thought that only the 50 turn limit will terminate a NAP. I'm yet to find a way to suggest ending a NAP to another faction.

In my last game whenever I fought an AI army or sacked an AI city it's units ALWAYS went for the weakest unit or at least made completely senseless decisions on whom to go for. In one of these occurrances my pale rider squad was having fun leveling the AI's sov while its militia and horsemen hoppeled along in the direction of my stone golem.
I think metal and crystal costs need to be smoothed out a bit.
Nope!
If you don't have either one at the beginning of the game then you basically can't build units. This is after all not a build all can do everything game. It has a STRATEGIC component... Have you ever re
