From what I can tell, in FE, custom descriptions show up in the details once you start to play, but not in the opening narration. It probably works the same in LH.

Have you been disbanding troops? That is usually the cause for this, if money is not the issue. In earlier beta versions of FE, troops cost population. If you then disbanded a unit, the number of man within it got added to the nearest city as population. The devs later removed this, but in some cases it still happens. Mostly for mercenaries, darklings and other recruitables.

The devs must have listened to the concerns of the players in that thread. Regarding the new episode, you forgot to cast an enchantment on your new city. The 3/3/3 spot would have been a better place to settle, in my opinion, although a lot more dangerous due to the dragon. Too bad, that it is no

I haven't seen that many Clay Pits on a map since my first FE 1.0 game. [e digicons]:omg:[/e] Hmm, I'm not sure, if it was a good idea to build the Workshop first in your second city. It only provides 3 more production and that is still subject to unrest. Building the Bell Tower first would have probably provided a bigger boost to production by reducing the unrest from 29% to 19%. Still, it doesn't really matter, unless you play on ridiculous or insane. According

Nice progress! I think it would have been better, if you had attacked the riders directly, instead of fortifying first, in your battle against the main army of the Darklings. They were swarming you, getting a bonus to their attack and accuracy against your troops. Your units should have been strong enough to kill them with one hit. You could have also used Shield Bash on several occasions to prevent the enemy from getting the swarm-bonus. Just something to consider for the next time.<

Same here. I'm really grateful for getting LH for free, even though I'm not going to play it due to Steam. All the comments and Let's Plays show, that I'm missing out on a great game, but that is what's happening, if you have principles, you're not willing to abandon. In any case, I wish LH gets the recognition and success it deserves.

Those changes sound great! However, I have one question: Will it be possible to play LH without having to run Steam? If yes, I may actually try it out despite my misgivings for Steam (tried it before, didn't like it at all).

You need to settle a city within Imperium to finish the quest. If there is no settleable spot, then there are probably cities too close to the wildland. I don't remember the name of the spell, and can't check the files right now, because my gaming-PC just died (thanks a lot, Starcraft 2), but I know, that it is a Strategic one that allows you to sacrifice city-population to increase the health of the caster (but he can no longer heal naturally).
