On a large map, once I , err, unzoom? to the highest level of sight where I cannot continue to raise the altitude of my view, I cannot scroll the map even though there is more territory to the sides.

Some of these may have been mentioned, but I figured I would put in my 2 cents. I personally am not a big fan of having all monsters in the world be whatever level the player is. Currently it is no big deal to have a few champions and/or units run around and kill the monsters. I would personally like a variety of monsters of varying levels of skill. Monster lairs that are in areas that make sense. Wolves in forest tiles, perhaps giants in hills, other creatures in c

I don't think that is how they intended it to work. You should build a city next to it, then build the shrine. I have done it with the empire faction without a problem. Also I believe it has to be touching a city tile on the side to be able to be built properly.
>> Click-drag the item from the inventory over the portrait of the unit you wish to receive it. I tried that. I couldn't get the item to go to the other unit (in this case a spear to a champion). That's what I thought would work, but it didn't work either time I tried it. Bug?
It can be a bit tricky, but if you drag an item from one champion to another, it will transfer. In fact, you could transfer it

Obviously you have to research terrace farming http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incan_agriculture Seriously, I have seen instances of huts, etc. on top of a mountain. The fertile land is supposed to be on flat land, so that sounds like a bug. Could you provide a screenshot?

True, but someone had to program it. Computers didn't stop the US blowing metric-imperial units to literally blow up a martian probe. http://www.cnn.com/TECH/space/9909/30/mars.metric.02/ While computers are incredible at calculation, they aren't so good at "Do the dishes" although programmers are getting them closer these days. As to the old days, those guys are even more amazing.

I agree, the ships move too slowly. They moved something like 4 I think in beta 3, but we seem to have a reversal. I can load anyone from a beach with a city with a harbor. This means they don't have to leave the city direcyly to board, just be on the beach with a transport just off shore. In beta 3, once you landed them on another beach, then they would not load back on the transport. This has the apprearance of a bug, or bad documentation. After all, they didn't really loa

I can't believe this thing has gone on as long as it has. Good thing I didn't name it "Deep Thoughts"! I wish I had a Kryptonite cross, because then you could keep both Dracula AND Superman away. or To me, boxing is like a ballet, except there's no music, no choreography, and the dancers hit each other. Hey, I chose the name for a reason. Either what I say/do is worthwhile, or it is crap. Either way,

Forgot this one. Now come when I zoom out the the max on the cloth max, I cannot scroll at all? On a large map, this is a real PITA. (No animals were harmed in the making of this post, but I was tkinking of a steak and baked potato. Perhaps lobster too....)
Here I just thought I was unlucky - there's no better Housing tech for Empires? I'd think a slum would make a lot of sense, or maybe create them a new 'type' of housing called 'Forced Labor Camp' that can be built, allowing some housing and granting us a bit of materials. Make it lose us prestige if need be (like the sacrificial altar). Even better if they could built the Camp over a refugee campsite.
I was thin
Frogboy, I suggest a simple mana system. Mana is generated by certain buildings and shards. The player has three uses for mana. 1. Use it to cast spells: both instantly and over time 2. Use it to improve the amount of magic that can be used in a single fight. 3. Use it to build up a mana supply to use later. Researching spells has nothing to do with mana - except you can

Tell me about it. I work for a company that designs data driven software. I am working on a feature for a major client that we signed that has to be delivered in August or we lose money. I have to make something work like it was never intended to, but don't slow or break anything anyone else does because what they want is unique. Then, I get to figure how to reverse it all and show how it was calculated with none of the interim calculation saved. Not that I wo

I have no problem with suggested traits, I do have a problem with automatic ones. The screen definitely is devoid of useful city info to help your selection as well. Also, once you select a trait, you should have an option on the next level to. 1) Increase that trait (from say 20 to 30%) 2) Select a new trait of 15 - 20% How did a city that specialized in research suddenly switch the purpose of the area to something else with full benefit as if it was doi

the attack/defend balance of weapons and abilities is out of whack, I agree. We never saw larger than a 6 attack weapob before, now 10 for a bow? I haven't seen the battle hammer, but 18! I think Frogboy is playing with us, or perhaps it is actually Dragonal PRETENDING to be Frogboy...
