It is very fortunate that people's personal wealth has no bearing on whether they are charged with crimes or not. Justice is blind. In this world, you can't just hire a team of expensive lawyers to shield you from the full force of the law, whether you are stealing billions in taxpayer money or going on pedophilic excursions overseas... ...oh wait, I'm sorry, it seems I got my realities confused again. My bad.

I played a game where I could have sworn I chose medium map, 5 other factions and wound up on something that was really a large island with just me, the Altar and a neutral. Small enough to where there were only 6 cities on the whole thing. Anyway, to the point. I noticed the Altar conquered the neutral and by the kingdom info, they were really building up an army. I mean it was supposedly several times mine. So I start cranking out units, which the empire still can't seem t
[e digicons][/e] Certainly entertaining. I don't think I have seem more effort used in such a limited song ever. Don't get me wrong, it is a very fun song. The band in the video sucks, but the drummer is fun. Thanks for sharing. As I said, I overstated Tre. I like him and the band. Billy Joe is wonderful and I am sure those that know Green Day and love them, it is like saying the sun rises. That said, way back in the day when I was barely out of&nb
True, it was an overstatement on my part. Tre isn't the best, but he certainly is fun. Yeah, I heard of Rush, bad a couple of albums. They had some good stuff, but that was an era where much of that music just didn't hold up well. I think it was the synthesizers.
I have a lot of respect for Green Day. Holiday has a very Clash thing going on. At the end of this video is a very honest rep of what it means to be famous. Tre might be the best drummer since Keith Moon. He is certainly entertaining. The bassist is very good. I think he is the cement of this band. Of course, I am nuts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r5aQFRc4okE
Crusader, No Remorse. Damn good game.
Hey, I understand it has been brought up before. I am a bit excited myself over CIV V. Call it a fetish from days gone by. Let it go and kudos to FiAtin's excitement.

To me, the most misunderstood phrase of the declaration of independence was the pursuit of happiness. Jefferson himself said you have the right to pursue happiness. It is up to you to catch it. Let this thread die and perhaps spawn a better one.
Thanks Raven, yes, I do have "passion" when it comes to causes where "might makes right!" Personally, I think the current system is designed to "what is the least we have to give society to get the most out of it". Well, the tipping point of this system is the American Revolution at best and the Terror, Nazi Germany, Stalin's Russia and countless other examples at the worst. If you want a thriving business, you need to retain skilled employees. You can't retain them by treat
So sorry for the ranting, flaming and whining folks Look, I know there are areas of the world where it is perfectly legal to have sex with what we would consider underage girls. Hell, each state has different rules. Yes Raven, there are some really screwed up rules that have ruined many young lives. That is being corrected in many states as they realize what the did was getting regular guys like your friend in trouble. That said, there is no excuse for a middle aged rich man t
Hey, no harm, no foul. I am not advocating my thoughts, just clarifying yours. I have a "broad tent" view. I would rather have the last beta polished and extra day than have it rushed with a problem.
@Reianor - we clearly just have a difference of opinion on this. By your logic, why even bother having to learn spells at all? We could just spend all arcane knowledge "leveling up" the spell books. Then get all the known spells for each level of each respective book we choose/find. The only limiting factor on use would be by shard/essence/mana requirements. That's certainly an mechanic I've seen implemented before, and I'd be
My suggestions are: Spell casters in cities with certain improvements like a sorceror's tower, a shard or even a bigger bonus of the shard shrine, can give a boost to the essense/mana cap magic users in the same tile can combine their essense into a major spell. Essentially letting a main spell caster combine all their essense into one big spell. perhaps a way to syphon magic from a shard to produce a magic item. You could only syphon off so much to
