But to me it's simply stupid to have a city with thousands of people living in it get burned to the ground in a single turn by an individual peasant For Elemental, that means a level 5 city. I don't see why you would want to raze a level 5 city, it is valuable.
I see both your points. I could go for something like one person razes on building or something like that. You also need to

Another point would be you don't need so many in the beginning. Instead they would trickle in. You can't tell me that was the "Great Generation" and after that no one grows up to be a merchant, farmer, adventurer, etc. Perhaps they could have a hidden loyalty ratings. Imagine invading someone's territory and the other leader bribes your Champion to not attack and switch sides!

Right now when I see the borders of another civ, I can't tell who it is! When the cursor is over the tiles of another nation, it should tell me who it is.

That is what I thought, but it seems like they only build a couple of cities, so they should have some left over. Also, I killed the queen of Parthia and there was a stack that included the prince. Upon killing the queen, all units disappeared and I won. That can't be right!

This may be known, forgive me if it has been noted. There are techs for longbow, battle hammers and katanas, but I cannot buy or build units with them!

Probably been noted, but the wild game looks like the horses resource graphic! While some folks may consider horses as a food source, most do not. Ok, maybe when they are old and become dogfood...

Perhaps once someone discovers the "Pub" tech then they show up? Perhaps the quests are when you build a pub in a city and they show up at random times. It does seem odd there are NO cities anywhere in the beginning, but there are inns all over the place. I would like to see minor city/states instead of inns. They have there own economy, armies, etc. If once could be lead by the ferocious squirrel civ in GalCiv2 that would be awesome!

I wasn't trying to make the world more complicated. I have never been on a board that said "Post more!" Then again, I wasn't worried, you either want my feedback or not. I would like to think what I am posting is helpful. That is the spirit it was given.

The farmer and miner NPCs are worthwhile as the give a percentage bonus. I think the researcher and merchant should be a percentage boost as well in the city they are in. Adventurers could give a boost to army morale instead of just being some guy with a sword. As to the leveling, I have to agree. It isn't very exciting. No new skills, just a point on an attribute. ZZZZZZ Also, I would like some XP for quests instead of getting books for increases in strength, dexterit

Overall it is better than 2. The AI is still a dork, but at least it doesn't start a war just because. In fact, it never declared war. That said, it didn't really expand either. When landing some heroes on the beach of an island, I explored and then went back to the shore. The game wouldn't let them back on the boat! [bug] City management is a bit boring, but at least not tedious like before. That said, I don't recall ever really worrying about building slots. I always

I had this two times in mine. Once was a caravan that got stuck, confused, whatever. I disbanded it and it worked. the other was a transport. I didn't more it and I think it was autoexploring, but then ran out of things to explore or whatever. I moved it and then could end the turn.

Overall, I tend to agree something should happen. Perhaps the more NPC's you kill the less come around your territory. Wandering NPCs would probably share notes when they met and notice after a while no one comes out of there with a job or alive. Also the experience is too high for killing them.

Harbors are a bit whonky right now. I agree there are too few beaches as well. Once the city limit has reached water, it allows you to build a harbor away from the coast! Then if you build naval units, they are trapped as they cannot get to the water. I imagine with magic, you can create beaches, but there are just too few right now.

OK, I guess I can life with units only moving 1 tile a lot without certain equipment or higher dexterity. What I don't understand is a ship has only 1 mp. Really? If I put boots and a cloak on a unit, it is 3x faster than a ship? Ships can move 24 hours, people need to stop and rest. It seems to me ships should move at least 3 tiles a turn.

I get disappearing buildings, monsters, NPCs and someimes my units too. They are there. If I mouse over it will say what they are. When I save and reload, they all appear again. Windows 7 64bit, 2 gig ram, Nidia 9800GT with 1 gig

Forgive me if this has been mentioned. Looking at a city, it is hard to figure out how many of each structure you have. Does it have a barracks? A market? If I either clicked on the city or perhaps hover the mouse over it, it would be good to see a list of what structures are there and how many. Something like 3 gardens 4 houses 1/2 market 1/2 study 1/1 commandpost That way I can see what I have, an also how many I could make wit

Welcome to the future. Businesses want to protect themselves from people stealing content and also reduce cost. So automatically being able to update software so they don't have to spend time on forums or on the phone helping people with installs and updates as much is a big plus. Additionally being able to ensure only one instance of a game is running on one license is also a big help in piracy prevention. Apple is probably one of the worst at making it practically impossible to even

I had a fishery at the beach, but the harbor was built by my lumbermill nowhere near it. Luckily the frigate was able to move out through the fishery. Harbor placement is not very intuitive though.
