Make the switch to board games. You're begging for it. www.boardgamegeek.com Real games vs. real gamers. Yes, they exist on computers as well, but there's just something about staring across the table at another gamer while you're playing, as opposed to staring at a screen.
Agreed, sort of. Depends on the board game. Like Twilight Imperium III, I could play that every

Saving and loading shouldn't have mattered as it should have fixed itself the turn after you had control again, but I think I've seen this as a memory leak problem, too. Is this with 1.01?
' No, it was 1.004 or whatever version was right before the latest patch.

This may be an intentional game mechanic, but if so it seems odd. I had an outpost near two resources which were under my control. The AI faction's city near by increased its zone of control which encompassed these resources. I lost control of the resources. However I conquered the AI faction's city, razed it, then built a new city near by. My faction's outpost's zone of control did not reestablish over these two resources. Maybe zone of control's are not meant to reestabl
I dont understand the issue at hand I might be seeing this in the wrong way, to try and help I will explain tech trading as my memory remembers the mechanics. When I research a tech in the Warfare tree, I get a 5 special warfare points (whatever the number, I get some warfare points). These Warfare points are special points only used for diplomacy, they are like a separate currency in and of itself, that have a very special att

Has anyone else noticed that if you trade tech points to one faction you can't trade the same tech points to another faction. Is that working correctly? Does the AI have the same limitation?

My point is they trade with each other tech points easily and a lot regardless of who gets the better deal which means all the AI have basically the same tech unless they're at war with each other. I'd much rather they be more shrewed about it. I end up never building world wonders because they give each other so much tech.

Am I correct that the AI is freely trading their tech points. I've been seeing factions building world wonders VERY early and having techs very early. Playing on challenging level. As a side note I also saw a faction very early with two juggernauts in its control.

I can not raze a city unless I've held it for four turns. I just had an AI faction raze one of my cities immediately upon conquering. Is that how the game is supposed to work?

The game crashed during the opponents' turn. The game basically timed out. I got up for a few minutes, came back, and the game was still sitting there withe the windows explorer circular mouse pointer showing the cpu was 'working/processing/etc'. There was no crash zip file. debug file:https://dl.dropbox.com/u/8971392/debug1.err

How do you recruit champions besides the ones stationary on the map? Or are these the only ones? I've tried a few play throughs(have not finished any yet) and these stationary heroes waiting to be recruited are very rare and it doesn't seem like new ones spawn.

I'd like to see some way in the game you can train champions with basic fighting techniques without having to fight for the XP to get traits. The same, except unlimited for traits in regards to spell casting. Something like a champion having to sit in a city for a set period of time with a particular building. Maybe something that can only be built in a conclave, the same thing for the other city type that is military based in regards to basic combat techniques or army bonuses.

My game crashed between turns/during opponents turn. My sovereign and some units were in combat with an opposing factions army. Though right before the combat started I got a request from a 3rd faction to help them out. I clicked yes, but battle occured. The fighting commenced, but at some point during the battle the diplomacy screen came up. So I traded some tech for some of the other faction's tech. After I exited out of the diplomacy screen I was no longer in the combat part of the gam
