Heh. I remember playing magestorm from mythic entertainment oh so long ago.

Though apparently gamershell.com's demos section isn't currently working?
www.gamershell.com for demos this forum, specifically pc gaming and I occasionally do google searches and look at various sites, not sticking to a specific one.

You can do that yourself... go to the original post hit edit and there is a drop bar where it says category... switch it from legendary heroes to the support section.
done, thanks.

Bump, I misposted this. Can someone move it to the Legendary Heroes Support forum?
Not sure if this intentional, my guess is not. I took over a city of Gilden's(Rilkaz) and all things I can build are "continuous" such as a mason. I'm assuming this is a bug. Tried saving and reloading, also tried exiting the game, starting it, and reloading the save to no avail. I searched the forums if this was posted yet, but since the search function for the forums is 'powered by google' aka not very helpful I really don't fee like wading through all the forum posts at
I clicked the turn button and waited, nothing happened, i read a little, nothing happened. Comparing this to CK2...with CK2 I LOVED it for about 2 months. I couldn't get enough of it. I even enjoyed watching the tutorials I found on youtube when I first started. I think they were by an aussie/kiwi fellow. Anyway, then all of a sudden I didn't care about CK2 anymore. Not sure why. Anyway, the difference, so far as I can tell, is that in CK2 I had to pay attention to a lot of variables even at the start, but that was ok. This game starts out with few variables, so i'm not
Found out that steam will refund your money if you don't like it if you pre-order and try it in beta. neat.
It plays out almost identical to Sins of a Solar Empire, imho (on 2d plane). Of course under the hood it's infinitely more complex, with each ship having hundreds of slots each taking individual damage and performing individual duties. Oh yeah, there are no special abilities or some such that you need to micro. So far every game I've played has crashed, and the AI is kind of poor at certain things (and ok at others) so
I'm curious about buying the pre-order, but dunno. I rarely like RTS games. For those of you who've bought the pre-order, how does the RTS work?
The game crashed after I ended my turn and attempted to scroll the map when it was again my turn. There wasn't a zip file, this is the second time a crash has occured without one as well as the errror message "DX Error:Invalid Call" appearing. Maybe its a direct x issue? I assume that's what DX error means. Debug: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/8971392/debug2.err computer info: Intel i5 750 2.67ghz x2(processor
Debug: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/8971392/debug.err There was not a crash zip file. This was the message I received when the game crashed: "DX Error:Invalid Call" I attempted to right click on I think a swamp square with a pioneer which was off screen. Nothing happened/game froze and then the error window. I loaded an autosave, which was two turns previous. I attempted the same thing and there wasn't a problem.<
Yes, it was a bit of a shock to me also. Anyway LH on steam is the full game, so no need for FE, I have actually uninstalled FE as LH seems to be a much better game, but is still basically FE with nobs and whistles. It's a steam world I guess or maybe it is only necessary while LH is in beta.
Ok thanks
I decided to reinstall FE since LH is in beta now. I didn't buy the game through steam, but I am being told at the stardock website i need to register the product key via steam. Why is that? Or is it an error? Also, is LH through steam FE and LH together? Or just the expansion I have to somehow install after I install FE?

Armageddon Empires was a good game. Not a ton of replayability, but enough. The only drawback was it was single player, the game would benefit a lot, and probably attract more people, if it had multiplayer and a dedicated server. Solarium Infernum is a good game, very unique and so forth, but it gets old after a while. Worth the buy, but its more of a 6-7 out of 10 game. Ty for show dead state. It looks worth checking out.
Someone would make a computer version of Twilight Imperium with decent AI. If only... That is all.
