I was never much for console games once I got a computer, but I wanted to mention Symphony of the Night(Castlevania game) and Master of Monsters I and II. I played them a lot and really enjoyed them. However, I tried Master of Monsters II about 4 months ago after not playing it for over a decade and was bored quickly. Shrug.
Vampire: Bloodlines is also one of my all time favorites, hard to have left it off my list. That and Arcanum...shit all the Troika games could be on my list.
At first I thought Arcanum was amazing, but after a while I stopped caring and never finished. I guess it was too much fantasy. Not that I'm against fantasy, but the steam punk part was great the magic and so forth was kinda irritating.

Vampire:Bloodlines Civ IV Madden 07 Master of Magic Master of Orion II I chose these simply on how much time I spent playing and the replayability of these games. I have only ever played two RPGs more than once, which was fall out 3 las vegas and vampire:bloodlines. However I played bloodlines through with each clan at least once and some of them twice. Civ IV was just the best of the series. Mechanics, map generation, balance, et

Yay for hijacking my thread! :( Anyway, i've been needing a new game to play; in this case something to make a game i've played and and interesting. So I bought the expansion from steam. So far for one play through i'm finding not much has changed. Just a new aspect for trying to race ahead other civs. The spying is very minor and doesn't require much attention. The new civs aren't all that interesting either. A few other things have changed, but for the most part

In the meantime we have to test the English version of the original game. So keep that in mind
I think it would be a GREAT idea to let the beta testers for Elemental:WoM and FE into your beta. Ahem! [e digicons];)[/e]
I realize I'm in the minority, but Warlock was a dud for me. I played through it twice, and felt no desire to ever play it a third time. To me, it wasn't worth the $20 I paid for it.
With you in the minority, I didn't even buy it. very disappointed.
First impression of players and first reviews are rather positive, so I'm looking forward to it a lot. I liked even vanilla Civ 5, so I think G&K will be all good stuff for me.
Yeah, buts its $29.99 that is the big issue. They're obviously charging a lot because they think people will pay, not because its what its worth. I'm not poor, but I don't like the idea of
If nothing else, Warlock has certainly inflamed people's passions.
I don't feel passionate about my opinion. I tried the demo after being excited about the game and decided its a 'meh' game. Reading other people's descriptions and reviews i'm glad i didn't buy it. I think I would have a much stronger opinion if I had bought it, i'd be vastly disappointed.

So after playing the demo a bit I think the game, at least initially, comes off as a dumbed down version of a smart strategy game. As well the quests feel arbitrary. And from what i'm hearing about faction limit, i'm very disappointed. I was very excited about the game, but once I tried it...not so much. Not sure if i'll be buying it or not.

So after playing the demo i'm definitely going to buy the game, anyone know the place to get the best deal for it? I mean i'm going to search online, but are there some places gives you more DLC than other places? (I can't post to the CK2 forums to ask without having a registered game, grrr)
This guy is very good. You essentially play the game and discover new things and strategies with him, like looking over his shoulder and listening to him think out loud. He's definitely no beginner and you find yourself asking the same questions that he has just asked himself. I've played the demo and followed his tutorials and "let's play" series with great interest. <a href="http://www.youtube.com/user/TekkorGJC[/quote
Why wouldn't you want to register? Half the fun of the P'Dox forums is seeing how many shiny icons you can accumulate
Because I haven't bought the game yet, not convinced i'd buy it. As I said above, i'm trying out the demo.
You can search their forum for guide. There are alot of good ones. Can't say I remember any of them though.
Sadly those guides are in the FAQ forum and you have to have bought and registered the game.

So it seems I actually have to buy Crusader Kings II and register it to participate in the forums at paradox. : / Thus I'm asking here, does anyone know of any guides for people who are very new to crusader kings and feeling very overwhelmed? Any suggestions?(I'm currently trying out the demo as Poland.)

Before I try a system restore I'd like to try something else first, I have a slight update to the problem. Slight update, no solution: Exploring my monitor's company's(ASUS) website I am told the proper resolution for my monitor is 1600 x 900, and I'm fairly sure this is what it was before. However, today it decided to run at 1440 x 900 and if I try to change the resolution I am told on the monitor screen that this is "out of range". The companies forums

Go to the manufacturers website for the monitor you are using and see if there are drivers for it, or if drivers came with your monitor, as did my Acer, reinstall them. You might also try disconnecting and reconnecting the monitor.
I was fairly sure my monitor did not come with software, but I double checked the website. It did not. My computer information: Intel Core i5 CPU 750 2.67ghz x4 8 gigs ram Windows 7 64 bit ATI Radeon HD 4600 series(graphics card) So I'm not sure what exactly is going on. I tried playing Civ 5 today and the graphics were a bit off. SWTOR's graphics were also off. Plus my desktop display is slightly bigger than it should be. Text seems a bit off in various things as well. And videos viewed on netflix are less clear. This happened today. I haven't downlo
