This occasionally happens to me, when I get a message from my firewall that LH is trying to connect to the internet, and I refuse permission -- game freezes and I have to hard reset the computer. Do you have a firewall set to allow or refuse LH to connect? If so, consider allowing it (if you so wish). If not, then never mind 
I don't recall the above happening to me with 0.75, but that could just be 'luck'.
