Good game; a few thoughts after some playthroughs
1) Wondering if towns shouldn't have more "+production to all cities" options (similar to food increases), and conclaves/fortresses have fewer options to increase production, relying more on your towns to do that. Doesn't seem to be enough specialization of cities yet to really drive choice between town/conclave/fortress.
2) love the new color scheme into the left menu bar, blue conclaves, red fortresses, green towns, yellow moons....er, right. That works well. Also like that the graphic changes depending on city level; might want to just bring that point home more and put a big roman numeral I through V on each one, however; not enough differentiation between a village and town, or the levels of fortress.
3) Still getting a bug where I clear a wildland and it doesn't poof. I'm sure it's because there's a monster what's wandered away from the wildland, and I now have to go track it down and kill it. Silly monsters, stay and protect your home.
4) I like the demand surrender thing on first declaring war, not sure I would touch that; it makes mop up a lot easier. If they're 4 cities behind, they're not going to win, might as well join the winning team. Resistance is futile.
5) Difficulty level persists in being inaccurately calculated; my medium armies are routinely taking deadly encounters. Ranged (esp. magical) attacks are not being fully considered in the assessments.
