While I think the gui has been greating improved I have a few annoyances after last night play session (and comments to fix):
-
a) On the left hand side you have a vertical bar (armies, cities, quests) and you can scroll this bar up/down but the last item (for very long bars that fill the screen) is covered at the bottom. Can we please be able to scroll it a bit higher so we can access the last item.
In the trade screen you can trade items and equip items. Can we please be able to also use items (like books). This is quite annoying when you pick up an item; it allows you to enter the trade screen (very nice); but we still have to exit and open a new interface to actually use the item.
c) I find it very taxing to move an army to the location of an event; for example a city is captured - i want to send my army there - it would be nice if I could do the following:
click on army to move; click an even location of the map; then click to move army there. There are two specifics things I'm asking for here: a) major events like captured cities are marked very boldy on the map for a turn or two; you can click there while retaining your selection of the army and then click on the map to move the army (this could also be accomplish by being able to assign a hot key to the army; then you could click on map; touch hot key once (twice would move you to location of army) and then click to move army.
d) In combat; I find it a bit confusing that spells use one mouse button to target; but attack uses the other (perhaps this intentional but I think it would be more consistent to use the same button)

I guess these could be marked as minor annoyances but hopefully some of these will happen in 4v3
