1st fight in a new campaign  with a clean start.  Saw a garble floating up instead of a number of damage points on (I think) the 2nd swing of the game.  That I have seen a few times before, butg not so early.  Then several subsequent swings had chopped-of letters or numbers floating up, which I have not seen before.  Saved game & exited.
