"I will venture to Stir-fry to meet with mother and help it's defences. Baby Carrot, you are still ill and need to stay here at the palace. I will entrust my strongest, bravest warriors to defend you. Sweet Pea, You take Pea Soup and head to Onion Outpost, seek out my father and tell him of the war." Lil Sprout said. "Uncle," Sweet Pea Jr. Pleaded, "They kidnapped my wife...I must" Lil sprout interrupted. "Listen, we need you to remain safe, if this war becomes too much, we need you to ensure our future. I do not want you to end up like your father. Please, take my warg and venture to the wasteland. Our father is our only hope."
Sweet Pea knew what he had to do, He must find his father as soon as possible and rescue his wife when they return. many days passed as the journy continued to the last known settlement of the Vegetable Patch, the Onion Outpost. When he arrived he was greeted by the few villagers and given food and supplies to help in his travel to the wasteland. The wasteland was a dry, bare land that looked like went on forever. The sun barley peeked through the sky and shown only how dusty this land truly was. "Why would the Green Giant come to this land?" Sweet Pea Jr. asked himself. After a few days when supplies ran low, Sweet Pea discovered a small hut. The hut was made with clay and looked big enough to hold a family. As Sweet Pea Jr. looked inside, there he saw a Giant. This Giant wore a worn cloth robe and a rope that tied it. Sweet Pea knew that this was the Green Giant, but he looked weak and frail. The Giant turned to him and spoke softly to Sweet Pea Jr. "My grandson. Please come in, I wish to see you and your child." Sweet Pea Jr. slowly walked inside holding the small baby Pea Soup in his arms. "My, you have grown." The Green Giant said. "You look very much like your father." The Giant began to cry. "Sir," Sweet Pea said, "We need you. Our land is under attack by the Dark King and we don't have much time."
The Green Giant knew what he had to do, but asked for help from Sweet Pea. "Let us leave this land." As they ventured back to the Onion Outpost, the Green Giant's color returned to his face. He slowly gained his power the closer he came to the Outpost. When they arrived, Sweet Pea noticed that the Green Giant was taller and stronger then he remembered. "Sir, you've grown strong. When I met you in the hut, you looked as if you were dying."
"I was dying." The Giant said, "When I ventured out to the wasteland, my power left me and I was unable to return. It took the last of my strength to build the hut. I knew someone would find me. Stay here in the outpost, I will handle this myself." The Green Giant clapped his hands and his robe turned into the leaves and branches. He then grew taller then the tallest tower of Great Greens and walked towards the city.
However, the war has ended. The Dairy Troops killed many veganic people in every city and village. The Green Giants children were killed and even his wife, Cauliflower, died in battle. The King saw the giant and commanded his army to kill him. thousands of sieges hurled rocks at him. He was hit and bled, but did not stop. He then kicked and pounded the troops into the ground. The earth shook violently. The Giant then fought the general, Mystic Tea. Mystic Tea used a dark magic spell and shrank the Giant to his normal size. The Giant then used his spell to restrain the general but failed. The battle lasted for hours and with the final spell, the Giant had no mana. Tea laughed and moved closer to the giant. "The foolish, I pity!" he said as he raised his ax. The Green Giant then knelt to the ground and drew his sword so quick, Tea didn't realize he have been hit. The Green Giant said as the general fell and died, "Pity yourself."
The King enraged by the death of his general drew his sword at the giant. "I am the ruler of this land, you are weak and have no power." With the last of the Giant's strength, he threw the ax of the fallen general and killed the King. The war was over.
Years past and many forgot the Dairy War. Peace has finally returned to the land of Garden Patch. The King, Sweet Pea Jr. ruled the land of Garden Patch as his wife, Cream, ruled the land of Dairy. Both were happy and lived long lives. The Green Giant traveled south to the desert in search for other civilizations. Though, this might be the end of this tale, the story of the Jolly Green Giant continues.
