I haven't yet found how to enable special abilities on any of my units. Can someone give an example? So far I've only gotten as far in the tech tree as squads, longbows, warhammers.
I see how the normal gear is either fast (swords) or heavy (maces) or ranged, which is a pretty good base. Now I was imagining that we can equip the elite troops with secondary gear like pila, caltrops, pikes, lances, magic doodads which enable special abilities -- is that the case? Are there formation special abilities that require companies?
