[4][Crash] Beta 4 hanging repeatedly

Beta 4 is repeatedly hanging on me. Pastebin doesn't seem to be working right now (I get a blank page after submitting my text), but I will post a link as soon as I can get it to work.

So far, I have started two games. The first hung in the first five turns, the first time I was greeted by an enemy unit. The dialog popped up that lets you basically say "we only want peace," but I was uable to do anything. The second game hung around turn 10 or 15 right after I right clicked to move my sovereign. Music continues to play as the game is hung.

I did mention that I was trying to get the debug.err up for you, but I still can't get pastebin to work. So I used another site. Here it is: http://jqd.org/pastebin?id=2852

There is no dump file, unfortunately.

Also had the game hang on approximately turn 30 with an "Out of Memory Error."  Had to Ctrl-Alt-Del to get to Task Manager (Win7) to close program.  No dump file but .err file is attached.

Just got my third hang/crash. I made it about another 20 turns. This time I heard a windows error sound, and was able to alt+tab, at which point I saw the "Out of memory" error as mentioned by LeBlaque. I did get a dump file, this time.

Thanks, Crafty.

There is definitely some massive memory leak going on in your game.

On turn 20 you had 1.28Gigs (which itself is too big).

On Turn 21, it went up to 1.37 gigs

Any chance you could get us your saved game (auto save will work).

Looking at your game, could you try turning off the report window and see if that helps? (the per turn report window).

I'll chime in given a bug report has already been sent in by crafty35a - but I'm seeing the same #2 issue where right clicking to move Sovereign from the cloth map  - no hang but am CTD.  Windows 7.

crafty: nm on my last suggestion.

Something very crazy must be happening to lose 100 megabytes per turn. It's not something we've seen but we're investigating.

Ok, both of you have  AMD processors with ATI Radeon 4800s and both are running Windows 7 64-bit.

Next step is to see if it's something to do with that.

BTW, is anyone else having out of memory issues?

If so, what processor and video card do you have? Is it AMD on Windows 7 64bit with an ATI 4800 by chance?
