Consider the following screenshot. I have added "raise land" to my favourites, despite the spell not being known. I have also successfully casted the spell. This exploit allowed me to fill my army with all summonable giants in the start.
Expected result is that I am unable to cast the spell, and unable to add it to favourites.
Edit: This was with the premade sovereign "lady procipinee", playing the faction that starts with a town built (I forget their name).
