With Beta 3A I was unable to load a single saved game. With 3B i've only succesfully loaded one. Anyone else in the same experiencing this?
Yes, loading saves sometimes requires 4-5 attempts.
I've had this happen to me several times, but I got an error while trying to load. All these errors generated a .zip file with a dump inside, did you check your folders to see if you have this? Do you just hang while loading a save? Does it crash? I think you need to give a bit more detail in order to understand your problem.
Oh I've already posted about my problem with a .zip file and such. Just wondering how many other people were experiencing this with 3B.
Game hangs.. more specifically I see the art pan towards the city in the mountains and then stay there indefinately. No crash results from this. I have to manually force a shutdown via the task manager. However.. trying again often gets the game to load.
Yes, same except the game doesn't load. Alas.
4 to 5 attempts? I've had this problem too but didn't keep trying 5 times.
I don't understand how a save game can sometimes load and sometimes not. Either the file is corrupted, not corrupted or something else is going on?
Same problem here. This existed under the 3A but not nearly so badly
in 3A it seemed you had to wait about 30 seconds, in 3B it seems you have to wait 4-5 minutes before loading =/
I have had this issue in 3b but not previous versions, ie after loading an autosave game background scrolls & music plays for too long (over 10 minutes) had to end task in task manager, have not tried to re-load the save that locked up the loading

I'm having this same problem as well. I have loaded my last save 7 times already with no joy. I'm just going to start a new game, but there is something definately broken in the load game routine.
I have found on my computer that 97% of my load game attempts work when "Skip Intro Cutscene" (Gameplay option) is checked. I don't know why that happens, just that it seems to work almost all the time when that option is checked and none of the time when it is unchecked. I think it's worth trying for the moment to see if it helps you load games successfully. But I definitely agree that there are problems with the loading game system as it is in 3B.
