[0.24] Start failure. Impulse fails with no error msg. exe results in error msg.

Running from impulse only results in the play counter adding one, but game fails to run.  No splash screen is shown.  Running from exe fails with "This application failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect.  Restarting the application may fix this problem."  Trying again still fails to run.  As far as I can tell the error reporting zip was not created, no zip is in the folder, just a file "sig".

Well I got it to work.  New Video driver didn't fix it.  New direct x didn't fix it.  I uninstalled and reinstalled (which seemed to take longer this time) and did the visual basic update, repairing the old instalation, and now the game loads to the start screen.  Wish me luck, hopefully following this simple process gets the other people up and running as well, I've seen a couple other posts like mine.  BTW I've got a 8700M GT (that apparently has SLI, which I didn't think they had)
