Probably fixed but since Brad's version of the .exe was not Public I did not post issue this but I have encountered this BUG in the version. When killed, the dead Champs/Hires are not removed from the unit List on the Left sidebar and if clicked on, the camera takes the players view out, seemingly randomly on the map, into the FOW. I will assume that has been correcte

"OOPS!" Post #110 was not my doing, I promise. LOL Can someone call a Moderator. We have a thread issue... agghhhh
Got it, good job.

Ooh, that arcane lab is nice! has a weakness for crystals and sparkles, LOL. But seriously, looks great. Rocky surfaces/ornate doorway and that subtle crystal hiding underneath the rock is very neat!
Thanks gents. The Lab will have some ground based additions. Thought up a good one. Think. "No animals were harmed (all died) in the making of this Lab" type stuff. ;) <spa
Have any of you guys played with particle editor? I'm trying to create a a pair of (indefinite) horizontal (I can manage vertical, lol) lightening strikes that kinda goes diagonally from one corner of the 1x1 tile to another. And I'm about ready to throw a white flag. I have a new appreciation for Icecrown skills now, too, sheesh!
Looked at it but like yourself, fo
Holy smokes oddrheia. What to say... well ok then. ;) I suggest that you post a Sign telling all visiting Golem's to Tip Toe about while in Town. :)
In case it matters. A fresh selected object using Ctrl + mouse wheel = scale +/- John_
Kudos to Kenanta for this article. A bute for sure. But to all the MODDING membership, (however minuscule the add) I truly believe this is what Brad (Frogboy) had as his TRUE VISION for Elemental:War of Magic. Any pooling up is locally based only :) It is one of those, "If you build it. T
Updated Post #65 again to show the Build Tile and here is the .RAR package. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8370296/EF_Living_Stone_Hut_01.rar John_
I think the new hut is excellent. The green clashing with the ground will look better once it's in a city.
I had to smile. That was the exact thought I had when I first zoomed out and saw it. :) Thanks. Will do a Build and package it up.
I updated post #65 after the Living_Stone discussion. Please let me know what you all think. I need to redo the build tile. ;) P.S. Here is a sneak preview of the (WiP) Arcane Lab </
I like it. Very neat and clean (graphically) Space seems well used. Perhaps a couple of additional things for aesthetic value. Throw some small smoke on that Fire. It is lit right? And add some wind break type material(s) to the windward side. ;) P.S. and what HF said. :)
Living Stone have adopted the Kingdom way of life. They do need food that grows, but obviously the whole area can't be green - you can still add patches of stuff that grows. Imagine this picture http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Royalvictoriapark.jpg but with no green grass and less colourful flowers. Mushrooms are fine. But yes, overall the purpose of adding
@John_Hughes I like the idea, but you need to cover more of the tile in its finished state. Maybe put two similar huts next to each other? Or a fence around to make it like a small garden (then you can fill it out with a shed and barrels and whatevers). Personally I think you're wasting models with that grass, it's not going to be noticeable in-game from above or almost above, especially in city terrain.
<span style="font-size: sma
OK here is the modified Living_Stone_Hut Tiles. Thoughts please. I liked HF's idea of a dual building tile so I went with that. Build Tile Finished Hut. <img style="border: 2px solid black;" src="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8370296/Elemental_EF_Hut.jpg" a
The .rar's I mentioned earlier. Sorry about the B_S_C screw up. A true (doh!) moment. :) http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8370296/EF_Living_Stone_study_01.rar http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8370296/EF_Living_Stone_Library_01.rar HF, please let me when you have them
@John_Hughes I will accept the override colours on this one building, but don't use them again. Keep in mind they'll stick with the building if it gets captured. That's no good.
Not a problem. Limited objects in the set use that color scheme. Will avoid them in the future. Thanks for the slack on that one. Welcome back oddrheia. :) P.S. <s
That's better. Could have left the wood pile. :)
Thank You good sir.
@John_Hughes, I'm not sure about the green color on the house. Where is that coming from? Turns out the base object color, mixed with the B_S_C 5,25,25 produced the Green tint. I updated it using a B_S_C of 0,0,0 overrides and provides a nice dark color. Not a issue I assume? <a id="ctl00__Content__RepeaterReplie
Edited pass on the Living_Library to correct color issue. Any further thoughts please. Living_Library Again ground clutter has been left out. Any suggestions or ideas?
Post #20 updated. More ground cover may be in order and I left object # space available. I will package and submit if no one finds a major flaw, or it seems over the top Study...ish . ;) John_
@cptcasey, If it not an issue, could you upload a larger image size? It is tough to comment constructively on the first image, idea seems cool, and very difficult to see the second one for sure. The Forum will resize a larger image for the Forum and then we can click to expand.
That's a great look, I think. Could you check to see if there is any more appropriate model than the statue? A slowly rotating thing like the kingdom study has might work, but I don't remember the colours on it. Also, if you have the models left, a barrel or two between the statue and the building, in the open area, would help fill the void.
As in the Magic rotating ring based item? Let me see what i
Ok. Sounds good. Here is an update of the Living_Stone_Study. Thoughts please. Civilian type can be subbed in no sweat. <img style="border: 2px solid black;" src="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8370296/Elemental_1294074551.jpg" alt="UU_EF_Stu
Ok question time from myself. 1) Who does the Living Stone labor? A Build tile requires builders/carvers etc? Darklings come to mind. 2) More than one builder civilian can be on the Build tile site right? 3) Why do the Living Stone live in a Dead environment? Wouldn't one of the more "nature(al)" setting be fitting. (just
