I tried something similar recently, to apply effects to tiles in tactical combat. No success. PlaceTerrain, PlaceEnvironment doesn't work. It places Tile data, and even has a removal Turn timer applied. I have no idea

Yes, trying to get a "coming out the ground" look. We have obvious issues for Tactical as noted above but getting a feel for a look never hurts. [e digicons]:D[/e] Scale was/will be an issue until we/I can test to see how it can be set to accommodate the variety of group sizes (4,8,12) etc. I will play around in game tonight and take special note of space usage by groups on both the Tact and Strat. map.
Very cool HF. This MOD is very FUN to play. Keep after it. :)
Were you folks thinking maybe something like this?
Yup, just use smaller buildings (hovels) and thin down their base platforms. I would pull the tree and put that nice crystal center piece back in perhaps, elevated half way up the center, or on a thin column even. Looking good though dude, your call.
Looks good Winnihym. As a compromise to the ground based issue, how about create a upward based sprial staircase theme using the circle in play now, then perhaps place the elevated pla
Conjured... Sent files so you can see them on a Map. Note the unique decal I created. It is included. I added the Civilian simply for scale. He is base size. Looking solid oddrheia. A redo of the House wasn't so bad after all. :) Here is a thought I had for the Workshop. Would like to get some thoughts. Remember though, roofs conceal contents. ;)
The most difficult tile would be the Earth one "Grasping Hands", would you want to have a crack at that? If you are not stoned out from EF stuff, I would really like to see your take on that one.
Sure. Let me see what I can conjure up. :)
Well done. Perhaps you might put those you make into a .rar file for dnld. I can see a great use for as many cool spell effects as can be made. Keep up the good work Sir... :)
The Living_Stone_House files. :) <img style="border: 2px solid black;" src="
@kronik83 Nice job on both of those. The Lore Shop is a very solid design. How come it doesn't have any "windows" ? :)
I DON'T THINK IT WOULD HURT IF YOU REMOVED THE WINDOWS! Seriosuly though... those are literally pillars. Why would you put windows there?
They aren't supposed to be windows. They represent the 4 Elements that make up the power of the SoV's who provide theses monuments to the people... sheesh. ;) ;)
Here is the Living_Stone_Beacon_of_Hope. If it passes muster I should have the Build Tile ready for the Sunday package. :) In the Tile Editor: In the Map editor (that doesn't have Dead ground for some reason. Also, as before, the Priest gets a Black outfit. (weird? or what?) <img style="border: 2px solid black;" src="http://dl.
@John_Hughes: No way to "flatten" the dome? I guess things like skylights are more of a villa feature anyways!
The base piece that the "window" tries to sit on/in is rounded. Due to limited piece choices that both start flat and are the right color, embedding the "window" so it looks good (Mr. Fussy here) is tough. The House file(s) are on my other PC,
Sarog's Flame Breath is now a never ending/permanent effect on the Tact map. The other effect works correctly. Use of the Health potions provides no HP bonus for the first one clicked on, but the count is reduced by 1. One has to waste a potion before they begin to work. Thus a pack of 5 provides 20 HP and not the 25 paid for. <span style="font-size: small
That is a way better looking Study version Winnihym . I would put the water pool in the top for color contrast. Thanks all for the input. @<a id="ctl00__Content__RepeaterReplies_ctl10__LinkUser" class="hand" title="Click user name to view more options."
The Living_Stone House. Thought? Additions? Ideas? Trying to stay somewhat thematic. :)

That adds to the theme really well oddrheia. Could you change the color a bit? A more Orange/Yellowish hue would really help it stand out and in the larger city setting would be super cool. @ crystlshake I like that Tower. Great use of that Object. If t
? Think about what reasons a modder may have for making an item unavailable in the shop, and unavailable when designing units, and unavailable when designing a sovereign.
This will allow a Modder to have an object be placed and findable only on the Map via Goodie hut and or Quest?
Labor Pit additions look nice. The wind breakers kind of add a "social/artistic" feel to the Drota. "Artistic" is not the proper term I seek here, but many primitive cultures are also very "colorful" with their attire/accessories etc.
