Maybe even more so than the average battle.
Unless there is an never ending supply of Quests, that you can get to without have to traverse enemy territory, their placement will remain random I assume, then even Questing would be a finite source and could only be offset by battle. <
If a Mine produces 4 Iron Oren each turn and a Foundry transforms 1 Iron Ore into Processed Iron (or whatever), having more than one Foundry.... Wait. This is about Kingdoms and Empires! Take your Foundries to another thread!!! j/k
Good point Winter. And duly noted. :)
Seeing that either "common sense" nor "reality" have to be strictly adhered to in these types of cases, as in if 1 Mine at max production provides materials enough to run 1 Foundry at max production, then 2 foundries fed by the same mine would divide the resources in 1/2 thus 1 mine would run 2 foundries each at 50%. A second foundary would be counterproductive, unless you knew a second mine was forthcoming shortl
"I don't agree with this assumption. An AI can gain knowledge the same way a human does."
Sadly, that is not an assumption. The computer AI knows where everything is at all times once it hits the Board/Map. The way the AI is controlled, to prevent abusing that info, is usually via "Sight Ranges". It knows what is in the FOG but is not allowed to use that knowledge until it can actually "see" enemy u
I have found that you can't Launch Elemental if you unplug your Internet. I have not said anything for fear of the panic it might set off in some. A .dll needs to be pulled down to run the .exe. I have (might still have) a screen shot of the error if anyone, is curious.
They are on the SCREEN and always there, unless you roll them up. If those are forgettable, then multiple repeating Pop-ups, containing various info, all needing to be closed in order to get back to the main screen, would be just as forgettable... The daily report pop-up has a lots of info in it. Is your turned on?

Well, well, welly well, well. :) Turn off the Pause. Turn off the Grid. And BAM! Continuous turns... (so I am guessing anyways.) ;)

How does it sustain its oppression and "evil", when such a system would presumably cause massive rebellion? You're looking at it the wrong way mate. Sure enough, if you tried to create the an Empire's culture in any real life country you can name there would indeed be a massive backlash, our society i

I had a thought that perhaps when your Outpost is first placed, any resource that lies within a 4 square grid(adjacent in all directions) should not be counted against the available build spaces. Example: I find a spot that has a Farm resource and a Forest resource close together.(inside a 4 square grid) I move my SOV such that when my Outpost lands, both resources are
Doesn't that present a quasi dilemma though. In the fact that the Empires would use pressure or fear of destruction to push their agenda(s), a one way street so to speak, vs allowing the Kingdoms 2 roads, War, same as above, or direct Diplomacy, to garner a similair result. Or do you consider the use of force as a means, in and of itself, to diplomacy, if even for short periods of time?
And if you struck up Diplomatic ties with this new faction, you could provide a sort of Prestige interaction, where you would send groups of Peasant Soldiers to their city, which could then be disbanded, and as such become new citizens of that city/faction. That would provide your Ally more people for them to use to either grow their city, assuming that increasing Prestige level would be more difficult for them to

Facilitator perhaps? Maybe if there's a Notably Silly faction amongst the Empires. Or maybe a strong overall tendency to sarcasm amongst the
Facilitator perhaps? This is good news. Lots of potential. Would allow for the different land types (Swamps, Forests, Plains etc.) to be integrated as part of the Empires over-all feel, vs the Kingdoms who seem to aspire to higher values through ethics, Learning, Diplomacy and higher Education. One question though?
I may be off a bit here but I read that Stardock was the Publisher for DemiGod, and actually stepped in and took over the MP side of it, in essence saving it, after the total butchery that was initially had. Elemental will be an ALL SD affair so we can expect a robust system. As to the Balance??? With 10 factions, true balance will not be possible, unless we see mirrored factions. I can't see why anyone would want
