The guy that was Captian/Sov of the ship that brought those sorry stiffs to the new land. Re-read your history...please. Someone has to be in charge. It doesn't matter where or when it transpires. @Lord Best method I have found is to select the unit who owns the item, select "items" tab then pick the item and drag it to the icon of the recipient on the Left side of the screen. Then select that user and equip the item. Works everytime.
I also noted that Ebenwolf pups simply disappeared from a Town, that was never attacked, without explanation. Carried on, as the game was early on. Will make a save next time, if it happens again .
That makes 3. :)

First time seeing this one. Caused the "Grey Death" phenomenon. http://pastebin.com/ye6fRGR9
" Think about running an actual empire."
That would be all fine and dandy. But is only pertinent when you actually have an "Empire" to run. Not 1 or 2 Hamlets that "YOU" are struggling to grow, so they do turn into something actually viable. <
Here is one BUG I saw before but thought it was just me. After a Re-load, the Pioneers Image turns into the same one my SOV uses. It is very weird sending my SoV out to harvest resources... :)

Yaaaa!
Would anyone wish to make a comment on the Documentation available in the BOX or is it all Web based? I love games with heavy LC's, but it is also nice to have some good Basic Reference material from the outset.

Yup, very different takes on the term it seems. Mine's not at all visual; it has to do with wanting game elements, including the non-built environment, to in
Another change I would like to see, especially within MP play is that when I initate the Diplomatic screen, I do not reveal all the Tech's I have just because... Against the AI, one assume it knows ALL things but is constrained bu other things to not abuse this type of thing. When I open a Diplo screen vs the AI, I get to see "where his/her Tech" level is. Instant information that I probably should not be privy to.
Just can't get excited about SC2. I loved SC dearly. As noted, from the look and sound of things, I could just fire up SC and play that but if I did I fear that SC2 would suddenly seem, 10 years old too. Why not just make SC2, as is, for the Korean market place (if that has any basis in truth as to why they didn't change it), and then something new and different for everyone else, and any Koreans who would also like something... fresh...
Perhaps the term "Living World" has differing prospects for me and you... I see the term putting us "on the ground, amongst the "flora and fauna" whereas when I utilize the ZOOM out to Cloth Map levels, I would be making a self imposed decision to forgo much of that "Living World" aspect. How do you see a "Living World" being detailed on the Cloth Map?
"I could hardly disagree more. The 3D level is about eye candy for everyone and increasing the appeal for short-game, small-map players. For the rest of us, the world should most definitely feel alive before we leave Beta 2, and it should feel that way at RTM for anyone who can't or doesn't want to use the 3D level."
My statement was not in opposition to the games need, real need, for a "Living W
"Units don't currently level so what do you mean you had 3 units level after a fight?"
Sorry for the rather late response but they were all "Recruited" units who can level. I am also hopeful, based on the current small map size in relation to Recruit-able units, that when we hit those VERY LARGE maps, there will indeed be LOTS</
We know the "City" is considered a single unit. At least for now. It will be defended or lost in its entirety. Any walls or other defensive structure built inside its borders will provide a Bonus, plus a graphic. I see the "Cities" in Elemental more as a representation of the growth, wealth and over-all health of ones Kingdom as a whole. The current change to allow outlying Outposts (4 tiles away), plus the addition of Pioneers, to provide another means to secure external reso
The current system is flexible in that I can chase a Tech type via the color codes(unless they are just colored different for aesthetic reasons), but also allows me to change over, in the same Tree, to another Tech track, but with a cost. That being, in order to go back, it seems to take the researching of one more, now unwanted Tech, in that same track, before I can get back to the track I want. I don't have an ex
And of course, I can use the guise of Diplomacy to Start a War. Send a low level to Insult, they kill my Envoy, I declare War. I lose a low level envoy, but that was my Plan all along and you fell for it stupid. [e digicons][/e] I also like the whole draw from the Hero/Family Pool idea. It would/could actually shoehorn into the whole "Living World" aspect that the Dev seem interested in developing.
Are you getting any more turns after the re-install. I noted your .err file listed only 23 turn before the crash. I have been crashing as well but have seen games up to 460, then it won't reload. Your machine seems Robust enough. I run a Quad Core 2.5ghz as well. Just upped to 5GB's on board. I still suspect memory as the culprit though. 1Z4 may be the ticket as it is
If your at .302 (1Z3) I would highly recommend a full UNISTALL, then delete ALL related Dir, both C:\programs\((x86))\Stardock Games and then the Profile based dirs c:\My Documents\%username%\then reinstall. If your up to it. Run a Registry cleaning pass as well, at your own risk though. Do not go in there unless you know what can happen if you mess up. ;) I have found that after some updates, the best soluti
