Sorry, I initially posted it in wrong forum (did not know that there is special forum just for suggestions). I am re-posting it here to have proper discussion One of the things that is missing in most of the strategy games and missing in ALL TBS games that I am aware off is the ability to set up matches of AI vs. AI. For whatever reason I enjoy doing it. Moreover I hope that we will be able to produce custom AI and include into game. We can even h

I would consider AI modding if they provided the tools, documentation and AI fight capability.
I am actually surprised that despite the marriage to the rival, AI decides to ally with you, even though it was visible from the past shots that it should be upset about this marriage. I think it could have been handle better, something like "the price for this alliance is high because you gave you daughter into the marriage to my rival, and I am upset".
With all this talks on this forums about AoW: Shadow Magic, I found my disc and installed it. There is a chance that I will play that game... or not. TF2 is always good for relaxation though :)

It is still single women, so the amount of babies will be about the same in single or multiple man marriage. The situation is simply different with one man and many wives.
Quoting LDiCesare, reply 4The dragon has a weak point: He crawls at 1 move per turn. Sovereign is usually able to wipe out the map alone before that. But the dragon is useful for the master quest where big baddies actually are. if your sovereign has organized, then the weak point is eliminated.
Then may be it should be immune to that. 1 move per turn, no mater your sovereign traits.
And I personally do not think that SD done anything wrong here. Things happen in beta, no problem. It is "this is your fault that you lost beta" attitude that pisses me off. "Things happen in the beta" is exactly the bulk of what I've been saying. You're inferring "it's your fault" from "read the stickies and announcements and don't overreact to beta un-fun", but the subtext isn't there. Which is understandable if you're irritated over the
In the same way as some factions allow to have women warriors, I think some other faction may allow multiple wives or concubines to produce more children, may be with slightly worse statistics though, because they would not get proper attention from their father. This could be interesting gameplay element and chose of your kingdom setup.
Agreed, for those that feel wronged consider this: once Blizzard and Bungie (two other companies known for their community support) had gathered the information they needed from the Starcraft and Halo betas respectively, they cut everyone off for weeks and or months before their release dates and no one said a thing because at least it was better than nothing. In this case one might have to wait at the most 96 hours without access

Another vote for Dungeon Keeper. Plus, can one go more hardcore than Dwarf Fortress? But still, Dungeon Keeper I think is a perfect game for Stardock - it is tight game that can be done with limited budget. I do not think Stardock would want to remake some kind of RPG such as Planscape Torment - it will simply fail in scope, plus, RPG scene is quite clouded. As for things like MoM and even Alpha Centauri, I think one can mod Elemen
Ehmm, they do not do the job very well if even I, a beta tester and follower of Elemental news never heard about that. We need MORE effort! Where can I get more information about Elemental Army?
As beta testers you owe it to yourselves to keep abreast of the latest beta news and that means reading the forums and the stickies. Life gets rough if you try to beta test blind; we've said countless times that the beta would be painful and wasn't for people who just wanted to play the game early. We weren't kidding.
Kryo, you are doing it again, implying that it is our fault somehow, it is not. Here is my situation. Whe

Knowing Stardock, they are not going to spend huge amount of money on ads (and they probably should not, better to spent it creating new content) so, the marketing is probably their weakest point, being small company and concentrating on game instead, etc. So I suggest to all of us, who inclined to support this game to make extra effort to advertise this game to friend, to forum bodies and so on. Just make a post, here or there, make the game KNOWN, because most of the potentlial play
Glad to see people digging the graphics... so far I do too. Also I find that stylized graphics age a lot better than realistic ones...
Well, those are not the only two options. I would not call Starcraft II or Civ 5 graphics "realistic" either, yet they work just fine.
By the way, does anyone know if AI is moddable in this game at all? Is it hard-coded or is it in one of those xml files? Unfortunately I can not check it myself due to recent uninstalation of beta 4 thinking that the game release happen for beta testers.
Yeah, this pop-up update window and showing release date today (actually yesterday) in impulse, and sequential removal of beta 4 without being able to install 1.0 or beta 4 back tricked me as well. But I understand that they did not do this on propose, and it is one of those unforeseen beta problems. I consider this simply as a bug. Should I report it in beta forum? :P
Initially I strongly dislike the graphics especially the strong bold borders. But over the time they have adjusted it, added some colors, fine tuned, and now, it is very nice and clean. My biggest problem is that I too can not see things like "pouch of gold" - even though it is shiny, there are so many things around and it is SO small, that it is invisible for me. I have to zoom out and check the cloth map. It would be better if it was either larger, or more shiny and may chan
