K, we have streamed a fix. Q: Do I have to download and install something? Nope, the reason we force people to connect for betas is so that they can get updates like this. Your game pulls the latest XML data each time it loads. We have updated that data to fix this issue. Q: Sounds like magic, did you sacrifice a goat to accomplish this? Ummm.... no. Q: Wh

Fixed, thanks.
Juggernauts are definitly not immune to splash damage. I've killed a bunch today with damage form others. Splash damage occurs to all creatures within 1 tile of the unit being attacked. It doesn't effect the attacker. It does effect everyone else (enemy or ally).
K, got it fixed here. I'm going to stream out a fix (ie: you won't need to download a patch or anything, it won't actually change your local files). There are 2 issues. The fix is that splash damage is way stronger than it should be. The scale was supposed to be 0.25 for 25% splash damage and instead it is set as 25 (ie: anything in the vicinity dies). The other issue is a cosmetic one. It is possible to dodge s
I agree that you shouldnt be able to dodge or counterattack when prone, ive put a bug in for it. I'm fine with counterattacking when casting, i think its less confusing than wondering why your unit didnt counterattack in some situations.
Fixed, thanks.

reproduced the issue here, thanks for the feedback (sorry for the slow response, i was on vacation last week).
Thanks for the feedback, there is some great stuff here. I'm making some tweaks based on it.

Reproduced here, we will fix, thanks.
They were annoying me in a test game this morning too (though im happy to report I beat them with a low level Ceresa, Nochd Nightbringer and a Burning Wraith). I was kind of proud of that battle and only won due to good luck, a territory bonus and laying on the spells before they got to me (specifically Blindness to buy my some time and Curse to knock out their really tough to deal with Defense). Regardless I moved them back slightly from starting locations and made them a littl
Quoting Alfdaur, reply 27Experience downscale on larger maps? Ugh... I could be wrong, but I actually thought it was the other way around. If they want a champ to get highest level no matter the map size, I figured it was raising the exp gained on smaller maps, as there is less space to work with, fewer creatures etc.
That is correct. Higher xp on smaller maps, lower xp on larger maps.
No, the patch is scheduled for next Thursday assuming it passes QA. We still have more to add.
Wow this patch looks amazing. It will be interesting to see how the no armor trait works out... Since in my experience nothing beats well armored troops.
It's definitely a major disadvantage. One of the reason they get spiders is to help them control the battle with webs. They are the least able to go toe to toe with another faction. But they have spells, summons and spiders to make up for it.
The last of the Beta 3 series is now available to download. Below is the change log that goes over what's new versus the build from 2 weeks ago. Foreword from the frog Beta 3 has been the faction differentiation beta and we will continue to refine the different factions between now and release. At this stage, each faction has some truly distinctive features that should make the game play experience different for each one. To r
Fixed, thank you sratner.
Yeah, its intended, but its balanced by a change that hasn't been introduced yet (Resoln will be losing armor). Making those spiders to hold down enemies all the more important.
