That ability just didn't work at all, no matter how you got it. It's fixed now and will be included in the next update.
Could you provide some more specifics. What are you setting it to when you see the issue (Anti-Aliasing 2x)? What are you setting it to when you don't see the issue (Anti-Aliasing Off). And screenshots of the before and after. Getting a copy of your debug.err would be handy too. For anyone else reading, let us know fi you are running into this.
It works for me. Is it possible your video card doesn't support anti-aliasing? Is anyone else seeing this?
I fixed the icons. I wasn't able to reproduce the crash (i tried casting the flame dart, cheat teleporting my unit and crushing blow just as you had). Im not sure what you mean by the ball of magic, but after seeing your 75 point flame dart with only 1 fire shrine I think you deserve one.

Looks like the time is based on the amount of save games you have in your saves directory. We are looking into it (I suspect its reading through the gameplay times). In the short term if you would like to speed it up you can remove your old saves from your save directory.
This isnt crahsing for me with current code. Try it out with 0.951 and see if it fixes your problem. I noticed you were getting errors in astar before your crash and Brad did some astar surgery over the weekend, so I suspect he resolved your issue.
We have this fixed locally. From the developer: "The application of the modifiers coming from melee attack or defend was not setting the target unit, therefore it was not able to calculate things with "targetUnit" in the modifier." But it won't be in in time for 0.951. It will be in the next patch.
