If so that would make it significantly easier to climb the experience ladder because you have a larger base of weak monsters to kill before you have to face up to tougher monsters to continue gaining experience.[/quote] No thats a seperate slider thats unrelated to difficulty. But I think Heavenfall may be on to something, have to check out the code.

Thanks for the save game, i loaded it up. You definitly dont have any tile yields anywhere. It isn't that there isn't fertile land, there is plently of it. There is a bug keeping it from giving yields. I suspect that you had some modified xml that is causing this (your tile yields aren't the same as my tile yields). XML is stored in the save file so I can definitely see the issue. We are working on a new installer than will ov
K, thanks. We are making a patch that overwrites all the xml so that we won't run into these issues. It should be available shortly.
For those having the issue, please test the following exe (backup your old one and then place this one in your "\\Program Files\Stardock Games\FallenEnchantress\" directory. https://www.elementalgame.com/img/FallenEnchantress.exe HenriHaki, thanks you for the logs. It looks like you updated your ElementalDefs.xml to be able to give your sovereign's 12 cus

You probably mean the intro book entry for your character. The background you write is still your characters background (and shows up on your unit info screen), but your background isn't whats displayed on that initial intro book. But I do agree that if you have supplied a background for your custom sovereign it would be better to display that on the intro book rather than the default text.
The fix is to delete everything in your "C:\ProgramData\Stardock\Elemental - Fallen Enchantress\Screens\" directory. But, if anyone is willing, has a few minutes to talk and is in America I would love to talk to you. PM your phone number and I will give you a call.

Changing the default setting or decreasing the number of pedestrians is understandable, but I see no reason not to leave the choice up to the user. Omitting them entirely actually feels somewhat wrong, and removes quite a bit of fun factor from the gameplay experience: the world seems to be
Great idea, let me see abotu getting that changed.
Pedestrians are disabled on 32 bit systems because of the amount of memory they require.
