I like the idea of these techs.. I do think that for the most part they should only add locations to territory that is in our area of influence part. This represents the fact that as a "settled area" we have time, opportunity, and safety to explore it in more detail. However I have a few ideas that might add to there "fun Factor" for some the current ones and possible additional once.. 1) have some that instead of resource locations spawn a quest start location.. f
True, but I am sure there are MANY people who would agree with me on this one
and just as likely many who don't ... In the end if for what ever reason a graphic over haul is considered /done I am not against it .. I just do not think we need one..
At the end of the day, the devs are going to do what the devs are going to do, sometimes even if the outcome of a poll shows that the majority are against it. The votes give an indication to be taken under consideration, but not as the only factor in making the decisions. A poll is like any election, so whoever wants to have their vote count can vote. I just think it's a more efficient way of summarising.
No offense Istari, but this is not an elect

I agree with rune.. its a matter of taste.. I actually like the art style.. However I do want the game environments to vary more based on geography/weather.. and to be more varied but I suspect some of this will come in time...

dear lord no do not use polls to decide what to focus on... Polls only represent those that bother to take them..

I am not going to get in on the Multiplayer vs fix single now part of this thread.. But I am 100% against polls to decide what to fix next. Polls do not serve all customers just those who come to the forums.. Fix what effects most first.. but that is just my opinion.. [e digicons]:D[/e]

I rarely lose a caravan any more.. of course I do not build them until my cities area of influence has covers most of the ground between locations [e digicons]XD[/e]

Another thing we need to keep in mind... counting on this to raise gold is not a good idea.. this ties up at least one group of heroes or an army or two.. Once the AI or when MP is up comes after you to continue to to this forces you to divide your forces.. Once we see some AI tweaks/reworking this may be something we do less of or at least do at our own risk. [e digicons]:D[/e]

I have to agree.. tis sad when the Dev team feels they cant post on their own forums. As others I enjoy the dev posts and journals.. I like to read what they are thinking.. Do not let them stifle the communication because they over analyze what they read or automatically assume what you meant when you said something guys..
